In a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Media, Yinka Oyebody, Fayemi described the commission of inquiry as illegal and efforts to probe him through it as an exercise in futility. He pointed out that there are two cases pending in court concerning the planned probe of his administration.
“The Governor and members of the panel are reminded that the two cases involving the House of Assembly, its leadership and top officials of the present administration are still pending in an Abuja High Court and a Federal High Court in Ado-Ekiti, thus making it an act of illegality for another panel to look into the matter. The governor is advised to concentrate on the serious task of governance and refrain from shadow chasing which the current pursuit of personal vendetta through a kangaroo committee clearly represents.”Fayose inaugurated an eight-man commission of inquiry in compliance with the resolution passed by the State House of Assembly on May 10th directing the governor to set up a panel to probe Fayemi.

I didnt bother to read the trash.. But clear conscience fears no accusation... Kpom
Seems this man is scared, abeg just wait for the blow.
Fayemi is a clean man, not an agbero like the other man. Why will he be scared? Can one ask fayose why he waited this long before instituting the panel? He is doing all these to scare Fayemi away from contesting against him 2018 if he eventually contest as he rightly said.
How's it a vendetta for a state government to call its predecessors to account when that is exactly what the federal government that Fayemi serves, is doing. And the state government is following due process in doing so by setting up a judicial commission. Is this a case of double standards?
The guilty is always afraid.
It is the probe panel of the former CBN governor, Sanusi that I am waiting for. Nigerians needs to know what happens to the proceeds of Oceanic Bank and should explain to us how Access Bank bought over Intercontinental Bank whereas the former was owing the latter Billions of Naira. Nigerians needs to know the rational behind the transactions.
Who constituted a probe panel to find out how FAYOSE ran Ekiti state before he was impeached? Idiotic man!
Which due process are you talking about. When a case is already being handled by a court of coordinate jurisdiction and one illiterate is still setting up another panel. Get some sense.
