Residents of Laini Saba slum in Kibera were left in total shock after an unidentified man murdered his wife before attempting to commit suicide.
The unidentified man from Kawangware, whose wife abandoned him due to several misunderstanding resulting to domestic violence, was believed to have tracked down his wife where she was with her three children.
On the day of the incident on Wednesday, November 9, the man stabbed his estranged wife severally killing her on the spot before turning the knife on himself but unfortunately his suicide attempt failed.
According to Nairobi Wire, the man was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at Kenyatta National Hospital.
