Review: I'm not sure, but maybe its the Album of the year.
Hotest Single of the Year
Ice Prince - Oleku
Review: Hot, hot, hot - hypnotic tune. I liked it first time I heard it on Youtube and I still like it. I instantly blogged it. Its BEST Naija music of 2009 to 2015. Its well produced and Ice Prince can sing.
Best New Act of the Year
Wizkid
Review: 100% agree.
Why is a NIGERIAN AWARD taking place in AMERICA though? I wonder what's the reason for it... smh
Like seriously? These awards are all okay, whether rightfully nominated or ojoro. But my major concern why willa NIGERIAN ENTERTAINMENT AWARD take place in NEW YORK AMERICA. All the nominees and winners will say they all love & believe in Nigeria. Event planners and entertainment gurus please explain to me oooo!
GOD BLESS NIGERIA!
Abeg Abeg Abeg! In as much as these awards are all good, Yes in a way of applauding the entertainers whether by real pool and voting or ojoro. My major concern is this: why will a NIGERIAN ENTERTAINMENT AWARDS be taking place in NEW YORK AMERICA? Naija no jell again. Later everyone go say them believe in naija die.
Well, event planners and other entertainment guru please help me explain this o!!
GOD BLESS NIGERIA

MY QUESTION IS WHY IS THE NIGERIAN ENTERTAINMENT AWARD BEING HELD IN NEW YORK? DO YOU SEE THE OSCARS BEING HELD IN TOGO? OR THE CANNES BEING HELD IN ROMANIA? MAKES NO DAMN SENSE.
Like serzly! y would a Nigeria Entertainment Award be hosted abroad!!!! Rubbish
obianuju(igbo song) should have won instead of oleku(yoruba song)
* in yaw's voice * i say CONGRATULOBIA!!!
@Alicia hahaha......i laff you in Swahili,,,,you ds Igbo girl shaaa,,,you too hate yoruba die........lol@Alicia hahaha......i laff you in Swahili,,,,you ds Igbo girl shaaa,,,you too hate yoruba die........lol
@ Neduzi & Voice of Reason - I don't see a reason why the NEA should NOT be held in New York. There are many Nigerians that live in New York and many that come in from around the tri state area and beyond that love to be able to celebrate their culture right where they live and to see their own stars/celebrities shine in New York where if you can make it, you can make anywhere. So that can't fly to Nigeria on a whim to attend an award show should not have something too, abi? Your reasoning is a little selfish, abeg!
I love that NEA shines a positive light on Nigerians right here in the States where people love to jaw about our "scams" and general lack of integrity etc. This is a show that give us an opportunity to turn that negativity around.
They host the Latin Grammies in Los Angeles, they don't host it in Spain or any other spanish speaking country, I don't see Latinos/Latinas complaining. They celebrate themselves regardless of where the celebration occurs! Because in the long run, does it matter where as long as it is a positive thing being celebrated?
Naija! Go or bad, una go find complain!
Linda, you can tell from the IP Address that the person posting under "my name" isnt even me. can you please stop posting their comments? and anyone can tell its not cause cause "Alicia says...said...said" is clearly not me.
