In the report titled, “Nigeria: ‘Bullets Were Raining Everywhere’ Deadly Repression Of Pro-Biafra Activists” and published on its website, the group alleged that the military killed peaceful Biafran members between August and now, with many of them arrested without any criminal offence.
The report in part reads:
“Video footage and eyewitness testimony consistently show that the military, which has been deployed instead of police to control pro-Biafran events, has dispersed peaceful gatherings by firing live ammunition with little or no warning. This report documents extrajudicial executions and the use of excessive force by military, police and other security agencies. It also shows a worrying pattern of arbitrary arrests and detentions, including soldiers arresting wounded victims in hospital, and of torture and other ill-treatment of detainees. Hardly any allegations of crimes under international law and human rights violations by the Nigerian security forces, and in particular the military, are investigated.
If an investigation is carried out, there is no follow up. Because no one has been seen to be held to account for serious human rights violations, an already pervasive culture of impunity within the military has been further strengthened".

All they do is accuse. Measures should be put in place to deal with people that kill innocent people
Work things out without chaos please
I feel terrible about dis...
I believe this report. I remember the news once reporting 4 people killed in a peaceful protest however it was by the police in Anambra.I'm a bit surprised though that the media during that period were focused on reporting peaceful protests only
God will punish every Nigerian that is wicked to any peaceful pro-Biafran protester.
Ehyaaaaa....
Nsogbu dikwa big time. Linda take note!

Lib addict#just passing#
Its the right of the people to express their anger or displeasure peacefully though, and should not be killed. The same people show bold solidarity with the government, they can also show their displeasures. It is a right that should not be denied the people. Brutal killing of harmless individuals here is an assault on humanity. Let all of condemn it. Let the perpetrators be be punished
hmm
