Una Go Just Die For Nothing ........... Charly Boy writes

Read his article below...
Greatest Nigerian Youths! Shey una go still answer,  Great! When it is clear that most of you guys are silly, foolish, ignorant, confused, useless and downright lazy. Shame wan kill me here on una behalf.
You guys are a Big disappointment to this generation, and a disgrace to the greatest Nigerian youths of the 50s, 60s and early 70s. Dem swear for Una?
Most of you guys have become a docile entity that is driven by the insatiable desire to reap where una no sow, expecting miracles when you have not worked and seeking  help in all the wrong places( illuminati, native doctors and night vigiles) The frustration in our humanity is exemplified in the confused non-ideological and non-intellectual capacity of today’s youths. The anger of your hunger is not hitting the minds of our youths and the vexation that has trailed governance nationally is almost unheard of among our youths even though the new Nigerian reality is most felt by these same youths. Kai!!! Una Mumu never Do?
For the past four decades, I have been fighting the course of the Nigerian youths and I still believe that Nigeria will be saved by its exceptional youths. After all, many great NigerIan youths have passed through me and have grown to become masters in their game. Like, Tunde and Wumi Obe, the great Majek Fashek, Dede Mabiaku, Gloria Anozie Young, Jim Ike, ALi Baba etc etc. They all passed through the Charlyboy University.
I have made and encouraged Big Stars who are even Bigger today. Because of me, millions of Nigeria never gave up on their dreams, because they have been inspired by my tenacity, my focus, my hardwork,my consistency, belief in self and my Never say Die spirit.. So, how can my honourable intentions for the youths ever be in question. But when  I see how so nonchalant and clueless most of them have become, I sometimes get demoralized.
When I called the youths to action, to fight to retrieve their stolen and kidnapped future, I was confronted with youths who are incapable of taking the bull by the horn and leading movements geared towards the Nigerian realignment. With the Social media platforms that cut across facebook, twitter, whatsapp, instagram; which should be one of the deadliest weapon against our yahoo yahoo leadership, yet the Nigerian youths slaked. Rather what did I see, ignorance and an illiterate bunch that trades on insults, with their horrible english wey dey purge belle, incapable of moving from the virtual reality to the reality of their present situation.
When a few exceptional Nigerian youths came to me for support to lead the protest to fight corruption starting with the National Assembly I knew that this was the beginning of a new dawn. I immediately jumped on it.  It was purely out of my desire to see and feel the reawakening of the lost breed of youthful activism and sustained engagement of old. It became personal. With the interest of the youths at heart, I saw a platform for sustained resistance against audacious political criminality to be presented to those who are ready to change Nigerian from the top to the bottom. It was done to activate the firebrand spirit lost to the destructive generational problems; to inform the youths and ring it loud and clear that the moment of continuing engagement has come.
Our youths must wake up with the urgency of now.  Leadership is not a gift, it must be earned. You must show willingness to lead. You must be tenacious. You must show support to those who take the risk to speak for you instead of throwing stones. We all should educate ourselves on good governance and mass mobilization for a sustained activism because Nigeria is failing and we are known for notoriously destructive government.
It’s time to stand up and be counted; it is time to say enough is enough. Governments over the years have succeeded in creating youths who have absolutely no idea about the processes that necessitates real success in the society; it is time to recreate the Student Unionism of old and the major driving force behind youth empowerment that is capable of waking the docile sleeping Nigerian youth.
No matter my disappointment from time to time with the youths of this great country, I will Never quit on you guys no matter how juvenile you all make out to be. Regardless if my intentions are some misconstrued, I will always stand firm, because I no send. I am confident that with my constant appeal for standing up in defence of your hijacked future you can begin to be emboldened to be more vocal about your predicament. As a fada I will never be too far from you. This is a fight we cannot loose, and we cannot fail. All obstacle placed in our way to derail this movement will Never succeed in Jesus mighty name. The Nigerian youths sooner than later will retrieve their stolen future. I believe in the exceptional youths and I believe in Nigeria. I shall and must be well again with us, God punish bad people.

Charley, my name is Chika and I share in your frustration. That was how late Chief Gani Fawehinmi and Tai solarin, got frustrated and died fighting for the future of Nigerian. The Nigerian youths are only interested in anything church and Mosque, anything religion, always talking of deliverance with no intention to obey any of the 10 commandments in the bible and the Koran. That's how and why Pastors like Adeboye, Oyedepo et all are richer than the Nigerian continental shelf.

All you hear is "blow" "hammer", "God will do it", "God pass them" God will do this, God will do that" Then you wonder why God gave each 2 hands, 2 legs, 2 eyes, 2 noses, everything 2 with a huge pot of brain. They are simply lazy minded and only tend to go religious where the preaching and teachings are about miraculous acquisition of wealth without doing any work, its a tragedy. They are so docile, lazy minded, ethnic and mostly educated illiterates.

They are quick to kill a 7 year old for stealing food and quicker at defending, protecting and hailing politicians flaunting the latest Bugatti they stole their money to buy in their faces.

To blame is basically the type of education they got. Many of them possess Masters in some fields but can barely understand a written article. Have you noticed that they do not like to read? If an article is a full page, their comments will go: "I cant read all that mbok" Do you expect me to read all of that? You begin to wonder how they got the degrees they have? All they have full knowledge of is insolence with the choice of words to effectively render it.

It's only the Nigerian youths that will reclaim Nigeria state for themselves Charley, if you try try, leave am, no kill yourself for people who cannot and refuse to read between the lines. They say "a person does not read is not better than a person who cannot read"

Am touched, stil don't understand why we can't move to the street, why we can't move in mass to say no to all this political hijackers. No one is ready to demand accountability to the said govt we voted into.PMB and his cabals padding our budget, trading forex as it pleases them while the economy decayed.

The youth must wake up from slumber to move the country forward. The country is going backwards day by day.

Anonymous said...

Pele o area fada. Today's youth wants you to mobilise them with money to fight their own course. I saw the scanty turn out for the protest at the national assembly and it was as I predicted to my friends. We are not ready to change that is why the old men would keep recycling themselves and ru long us till they die.

Unknown said...

Nice write-up! It's time for the youths to wake up from slumber.

No we are not, we just don't want to die in the hands of useless trigger happy police men who gets promotion when they kill innocent Nigerians . We have aged parents u know , we can't leave them like that. No one gets prosecuted in this country for killing, so we can't take to the streets. If the country likes , let it catch fire, I don't care anymore

sholetoga said...

Charly boy, I feel your disappointment. Nigerian Youths are just too docile. But maybe the protest will be more successful if it took place in lagos. You can plan future protest for Lagos and you'll be surprised at the turn out.......we really need to take back our country from this clueless bunch and make Nigeria great again

Anonymous said...

You make sense! Couldn't have agreed any better

We have dumb youth in this country. All they do is yahoo yahoo or post pictures on Instagram or ask for nude picture or do mmm for quick money or sleep all day and expect a miracle. Nice write up.

While you rain insults on Charlie, do not forget that you the youth stand to lose the most from dysfunction. Charlie has lived in Nigeria at a time when being a youth seeking a good future did not mean you had to objectify and minimize yourself. There was a time when people could actually get internships, a good university education including room and board for #110 and it was not too long ago. There was a time less than a generation ago when you did not have to contract hiv or herpes because you want to apply for a job. There was a time in recent memory when you did not have to marry someone you did not care for because you were looking for money and survival. There was a time about 20 years ago when you could dream of tomorrow and work hard and your dreams manifested independent of whether you are rich or poor. So insult him because he is trying to pass down the critical tools of mobilizing to defend ones right to live with dignity. Insult him while children of rich people maintain their integrity as you worship them on Facebook and twitter for their exploits at your expense while you sell your bodies to all bidders, and your siblings, parents and you die from the simplest of issues that they do not have to worry about because they live off your stolen wealth and future.

GUY FADE!!! You are here busy naming people you mentored. Guy you were a rich kid... Growing up was not way too tough for you. I just hope you understand how much power "upbringing" holds to the same tenets you are talking about...Nigeria played a big role in destroying it's own youths mental faculty by letting power revolve in few hands..same hands since independence.... Yes freedom is not free.. It's earned.. however, me and you know the brutal cost or Shey you go front make we the youth follow you for back since na you be the mentor and senior advocate.. This problem don start no be today.. WHAT ROLE DID YOU CHARLEY BOY PLAYED WHEN YOU WERE STILL A YOUTH TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM? Seriously I have a thousand and one questions to ask you.. Mmmchheww... Guy rest I beg

Chai! See young people insulting Charly boy here??? this is a.man who can NEVER suffer! A man who has no business coming out for you guys, cos he has the clout to get any contract he wants from the elites.I cam only say Tufiakwa! No wonder the older politicians continue to recycle themselves. This generation of yours are not ready.

The most matured and insightful comment i have ever read at Linda ikeji blog. There has been a delibrate mind control sort of social engineering that has gone on undictated for a long while. You know when anybody can be taken to a military depot and drilled for say 6 months n d persin becomes a killing machine. The govt kills the man that arrived at the depot gate and remake him into a soldier by consistent repititive practises n trainings. This apply to the mind of the youth...by consistently n repititively being fed with very low quality education that abhors critical thinking, introduction of bet9ja schemes, a debased entertainment culture that glorifies porn and an abusive bile toxic social media platform,.....dont wake up suprised that u still have youths grown in the body yet shallow in their minds

Unknown said...

Anon 2.13 - excuses are cheap..u cld die even in your sleep and still lose this same parents u r pretending to fight to protect..when a man has no balls in him, i flees from responsibilities and seeks refuge under the shameful table of excuses....u must care for d kind of country u leave for your kids.. the undeservedly opportuinistic rich vultures have almost sealed off destiny of your kids..is it your son that is marrying zahra? What has Indimi done other than to have been. Corruptedly gifted your oil wells..now with a free $98m account balance ie N40b can your very intelligent and deserving child not end up with this egoistic n spoilt pricks as future leaders or bosses..what for? For parents who were to cowardly to pay d price...i am tired of dumb down dumb asses of a youth from nigeria
