Why do we fool ourselves? A made in Nigeria car for N5.6m. Is it for Nigerians or for export? It's a shame that some Nigerians have become indifferent and distanced themselves from d aims and aspirations of fellow Nigerians.
As much as I am proud of this massive achievement, I still think more work needs to be done in the design of these cars! The SUV looks like a clone of a Toyota land cruiser and the saloon car looks like a clone of the Chinese echlon.
Good job but you'd need to present a competitive pricing to thrive else...Nigerians would keep going for known brands. For me, N5.6m is still on the high side so to say.

And also think of the pool of talents those foreign Manufacturers also have, even Africans are among their Gifted Employees; the likes of Jelani Aliyu, Patrick Usoro, etc. It's time for us to embrace development and give Kudos to those helping the developments. I can name several Foreign cars that are not beautifully designed but Africans will hail at the sight of those cars because it's made by Foreign Brand. Anyway, have you ever heard of "African version" of Cars from foreign Manufacturers? Is to sing our praises that we now produce cars in Nigeria or to enable Nigerian afford brand new cars? We need to go back to the drawing board....It's a good idea but it doesn't make any economic sense to the Nigerian people that are still struggling to buy a grade A tokunbo car worth N2m.
