'Attack on Nigeria is 'spiritual' - IK Osadioduwa Tweets

On-Air-Personality and Big Brother Africa host IK Osakioduwa thinks the recent terrorist attacks on Nigeria is 'Spiritual'. At least 1,600 people have been killed in attacks since January 2014, with 80+ killed only yesterday at Nyanya motor park in Abuja. IK thinks it's time Nigerians start praying for Nigeria. See more Tweets after the cut and tell us if you agree with him...

I think this lack of responsibility in this country is very sickening and a show of d poor level of education. We give too much credit to an illusion that God is the cause of our man made problems. We take no responsibility or actions, we go to church and expect miracles to happen like God hasn't empowered us with all we need to take d right decision to change our circumstance.
Then we complain that our ministers are super rich. When we have handed over all our problems in their care in pursuit of miracles.

Ik, you have said it all. Its high time we come together as a country to seek God's face on this matter. We need to ask God for vision on how to tackle this menace called boko haram. It is no longer the governments battle alone but ours because in one way or the other..this attacks must have affected each and everyone of us directly or indirectly. Poor innocent people are always the victims of these incessant attacks...so its high time we take the bull by the horn. Please let's stop this our constant attacks and criticisms on the government because it has not yielded any positive answer so far.
Who ever that is behind this wants the government to fail...and that is what we are helping them do. Action speaks louder than voice. So let's participate more in the action part than talking. Contribute in any way you can to this nations building. In unity we can do this and unity they say is strength, and I believe in that school of thought. I don't support any politician or government but I feel that we have talked and talked but nothing changed...let look for alternative way of making things better because when the eyes starts crying...the nose follows. It is well with Nigeria.

Can I just say that Nigerians have been praying for Nigeria for decades !!!!!!! This is also physical , so u r going to sit down there and tell us that you haven't sat down to think who is arming these people . Ehhn , how on earth do they have the funds for this ? These bombs and guns are being imported and we need to know the buyers . Boko haram don't exist anymore in my own opinion, because they r meant to be a set of suicide bombers , these aren't suicide bombers these people are just mass murders . Also let's think about this , if these people are trying to fight western influence why aren't they bombing government houses ? Why r they killing innocent people who have nothing to do with it . I am telling all of you that there are politicians involved in this . I am so scared for 2015 , also Sheybi a church just completed 100 days fasting for Nigeria .

Hmmmm, nigerians. Everything is spiritual. The only time this country can move forward is when people stop seeing everythin as spiritual. We've prayed enough, now let's act; prayer won't carry u from ur room to vote Jonathan & PDP out of power in 2015, prayer won't make u a responsible human being not to cheat ur neighbour and be corrupt whether u r in power or not, prayer won't make d people in power stop being complacent & actually carry out the duties they were voted to do instead of killing the country they call their own with corruption and incompetence and making their children citizens of other nations(where is the patrotism?)

We've prayed enough, now let's act

SO, THESE ATTACKS HAPPENED BECAUSE NIGERIANS HAVE NOT BEEN PRAYING???? ARE YOU TAKING THE PISS????

IK Osakioduwa, go and sit your arse down, please or I will throw my shoes at you. Please. So DAFT. So STUPID. So WEAK. MORON. Daffie. What would you know, IK Osakioduwa. You chat sh!t "God" spoke to you too, like he "speaks" to those money grabbing, illiterate and FAKE prophets and pastors that are deceiving and robbing you lot in Nigeria? People are dying. People are living in fear. People are constantly being slaughtered by a gang of thugs and criminals and the BEST you can come up with is "spiritual" and "prayer"? You're not serious. You might as well ferry all the leaders from the South to go and prostrate to those rotten gangsters in the north that are financing and directing the activities of their armed wing, Boko Haram.

What is going on is not the work of satan. It's the work of northern leaders. They will heed to earthquake type firepower, on a daily basis in their own calm neighbourhood. The situation needs no prayer, no diplomacy. Shove hell down their throat. Nigeria gets no peace, then they must be force feed chaos, crisis and Armageddon. Situation needs more boots on the grounds, tanks and helicopter gunships. Boko Haram activity will only cease when those rotten northern leaders start receiving their own children in BODY-BAGS, and then they will feel the SAME pain which the families of whose loved ones were massacred by "northern soldiers", Boko Haram. The whole of the north should be surrounded and under siege 24/7 by the Nigerian backed with armoured tanks and helicopter gunships, till those northern criminals (leaders) permanently call off the war they've waging on Nigeria.

HAUSA / FULANI PEOPLE AND NORTHERN NIGERIA BELIEVE THEY HAVE GOD GIVEN RIGHT TO RULE, DICTATE AND DOMINATE NIGERIA AND NIGERIANS.

ITS ABOUT TIME NIGERIA STOP PLAYING SECOND FIDDLE TO NORTHERN NIGERIA. THIS IS 2014, NOT 1980. WHAT YOU LOT DONT UNDERSTAND IS THE FACT THAT THOSE NORTHERNERS HAVE NO RESPECT FOR NIGERIA'S CURRENT PRESIDENT BECAUSE HE'S NOT FROM THE NORTH. THEY ARE DISRESPECTING NIGERIA, DISRESPECTING US, DISRESPECTING YOU, I AND THE WHOLE OF SOUTHERN NIGERIA.

THE NORTH NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT THEY CANNOT ALWAYS HAVE THEIR WAY. THE DAYS OF HAUSA / FULANI DOMINATION AND IMPUNITY IS OVER. ITS OVER.

NORTHERN NIGERIA, REALISE THAT AND QUIT YOUR STUPID TANTRUM OR Y'ALL SHOULD JUMP ON YOUR DONKEYS AND BACK TO THE DESERT WHERE YOUR ANCESTORS ORIGINALLY CAME FROM. CROOKS. MURDERERS. TRAITORS.

I agree totally with IK. The problem of Nigeria is PRAYER first. That is why we, are also calling and beckoning on our dear mothers/women of nigeria, let us put away RELIGIOUS, ETHNIC, POLITICAL sentiments and STATUS in life and unite together in prayer and positive action to salvage our CHILD (NIGERIA) before it gets too late for all of us. (local or abroad). No nation can take us (about 170 million people) as refugees? Women remember we are the worst hit in any unrest – you may lose a husband or children; you may suffer rape or your daughters; your life is not also spared. Just read through and watch through the Abuja bomb blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LET US SAY NO TO VIOLENCE AND SAY NO TO INCESSANT KILLINGS. Become a VANGUARD for change. You can make a difference in your very territory. Arise Nigerian women and hear the cry of your CHILD (NIGERIA). SAY NO TO VIOLENCE. SAY NO TO INCESSANT KILLINGS. Become a VANGUARD for change. You can make a difference in your very territory. Join Nigeria Mothers Pray today. Register online to join by visiting our website www.nigeriamotherspray.com. Today it is NOW evident to all that our dear nation Nigeria is facing very austere challenges regardless of our one hundred years (100 years) of existence. That is why we the concerned Mothers of our great nation have taken a DECISION once again to stand and unite in prayers for peace, unity and progress of Nigeria. Posterity will hold us accountable if we sit and do absolutely nothing about the situation. Even in the African tradition, it is customary to call the women when certain community matters are getting out of hand. True change therefore, in this Nation must be championed by Mothers – life coaches of the unit that makes up the nation – Our Homes, thus our nickname VANGUARDS OF CHANGE.

Fools.....ain't we been praying. Even the bible says....you need to work to make ur faith manifest. .... Bro what can a common citizen who wakes up under black out do without assurance of breakfast do? You only think straight when you are satisfied with basic things in life. The keep Nigerian under poverty and stress so that they can't think or ask for more than a meal to survive and carry on...So stop this shit. ..Na Niaja pray pass , go church, mosque, all sort yet no transformation. Oyinbo no too pray but do the right things and get result.....God makes all things beautiful in his time. ..but the man must change his wicked heart to be use by God.

I have been praying IK and I just did again after seeing your prayer points. God will arise on behalf of Nigeria and expose all evil doers especially the Boko Haram sponsors, their leaders and all those involved in ritual killings. the blood of the innocent ones killed will cry and God will hear and avenge for them. The reign of terror over Nigeria will soon be over in Jesus name. Nigeria, I pray peace within your walls and prosperity within your palaces - all those who love u will prosper while all those who hate you and continually bring you troubles will be troubled by God Almighty Himself. Let's not give up on our country for we shall soon testify in Jesus name. God bless Nigeria!

@ IK Osakioduwa..abeg just keep shut if you don't have any meaningful contribution to make..you are the kind of people Prof. Soyinka just referred to..always trying to hide under the pretense of religion or spirituality..What positive impacts has GEJ done on insecurity, power and corruption in the country? or it is spirituality that will make us talk to him..You are just after your pockets here...You are part of the people that keep eroding the mindsets of young populace with deceits and religious bigotries..God exists but we need to make things work for ourselves..don't hide your incompetence under religion.

We need to realize GOD would not come down from heaven and work for us. He has and will always give us abundant Grace to work but we have to be very willing to play our little human parts. What's happening in Nigeria right now is simply caused by the inefficiency and total cluelessness of a LAZY and TOTALLY CONFUSED government. I guess even the looting and stealing of monies by government officials including the missing $20 billion is spiritual huh? This same government didn't do anything about such a relatively easy case. Is it Boko Haram it would now handle properly? Please, we need to stop being lazy and stupid and commit to doing work. When work overwhelms us and we are lost, God would shower us with more Grace. Sitting still and doing absolutely nothing and "yarning dust" is simple as that....."yarning dust". Terrorists would still keep hitting our nation as long as our government is lazying around & disturbing Baba God over what He has already given us GRACE to sit and solve.

Hmm,

Ik, am absolutely sure no christian would disagree with such assertion, regardless of the true intent of its pronouncement.

However, in no part of the Bible (which is our only connection to the reality of God) did we ever learn that only prayer did the magic? or did any prophet or servant of God ever attempt to pray before acting? why hasnt corruption and heartlessness of our govt been eradicated with the millions of prayers said for this country daily? would God give you manner and still put it in your mouth? it isnt arranged in the order of "fast and pray" for nothing. It is truly our actions that tell God exactly how we feel my brother. why do you work so hard getting jobs if you really could just pray about it? Please give ur tweet a deeper thought and try to correct ur proclamations ok.

The truth is, more than you can imagine my parish, family, friends and a host of the country have been praying tirelessly for this thorn-in-the-flesh group. but deep in our hearts we know that nothing would change if we don't ACT, & NOW.

It is for this kind of path-on-the-back comments that our govt chooses to continue in their COMPLETE NEGLIGENCE OF DUTY ATTITUDE, only to be recorded handling every other thing else but their jobs.

Well since we have decided to stay hiding, rather than in one accord DEMAND our govt to act, we all should be prepared to face the outcome of all being cowards!
