I'm sure alot of you remember Michelle Branch. Well, after an unsuccessful solo career, the former pop/rock chick has reinvented herself as part of the alt-country duo called The Wreckers. Their debut album, 'Stand Still, Look Pretty' is an exquisite affair.
So many timeless songs on the album, like the title track.
On the surface, 'Stand Still, Look Pretty' is a meditation on fame, but it's more than that. It's a song about frustration. About empathy. It's about life.
I'm glad Michelle got a second chance in life to live her dream.
Go get the album. You won't regret it.
