Wonderful reasons though. A woman shouldn't stay long in her parent's home. Dey value der traditions but we Nigerians get worse every single day trying to imitate the White man's culture. An Indian woman can't pose nude pictures d way some Nigerian women do. So how den can we come up with ours? Another problem is that married men won't leave d young girls alone to focus, tempting d ones that want to be tempted thereby chasing young men. Some Nigerian women prefer fame, riches, career to being with a man they can call their husbands and this opposite to an indian woman. We lack behind when it comes to this aspect. May God help us all.

Oh pls no one should be made to get married. In life what matters most is ones happiness and marriage doesn't give you that. I believe most people in Nigeria marry for similar reasons also. For me... marriage would be for fun and happiness. If I must marry then it must be God's will. And I must have my freedom of expression and be able to live as I should. Everyone would die alone as we were all born alone. So its oyo state for every human being. Why get married n be unhappy for the rest of your life all in the name of pleasing people or doing the wish of family n society? People who want to get married should AND those who don't want to should be left in peace. That's my own opinion on Marriage.

Lol!! The pressure is too much. People are pushed into marriage and end up divorced. There is also the outdated opinion that you are nothing unless you marry. You can have all the qualifications in the world, the best job in the world but they won't leave you alone- pressure from everyone
