What do you guys think of the native herbal tea 'Agbo'?

They say it cures pile, fever, headache and cold, because it works directly with the body system and does not have side effects. It's not expensive and can be prepared at home using mango tree leaf etc...

What do you know for sure about 'agbo' ? Please share.
Also, what do you know about the native drink dongoyaro?

Seriously, I prefer (love) agbo to taking drugs. It works for me.. Take it when it's piping hot & you just get to sweat out the ailment... esp malaria...
Btw, it's been a long min I drank it though...

Not that i like it but there is one herbal mixture called OROKI for pile ,period pains etc.It' s does what it says on d label anytime i'm in town from abroad,i stockpile on them my kids love it even my purely ajebo hubby.Gave some to my colleagues and they ask for more. Herbal remedy is quiet good if its not fake. Dongonyaro is for Malaria i think

yeah...the bitter taste can be off-putting but nothing else can beat what the traditional remedy can do to your body, especially the 'opa eyin' one & the one for indigestion. Can't wait for my mum(who's in Lagos at the moment) to bring some back for me.
