I'm sure you all have heard of the sad murder of the Nigerian boy, Zac Olumegbon, 15, from Brixton in south London, who was stabbed to death outside his school on Friday morning.

what a pity, another sad waste of a young life but his death goes to show you that London has its rough neighborhoods too (and it is in such neighborhoods that a lot of Nigerians live- Peckham, West Norwood, Woolwich, Plumstead, etc). My heart goes out to his parents and to the Nigerian community
wow, what a shock! I was Zac's teacher at high school when he was at WCS. He was a spritely lad with a good laugh. Unfortunately though, I could see this happening with Zac. He seemed destined to get involved with gangs and had a massive mouth that I knew would get him into trouble. I feel for his family, they've had to put up with a lot for a long time. He left my school 2 years ago for a PRU, as our school couldnt handle him. I only hope his friends go in a different direction than the path he chose for himself (i heard his best friends brother was shot in the head a few months ago!).
