Zenani Mandela, 13, (pictured above with Madiba) one of the nine great grand children of Nelson Mandela was killed last night, June 11, 2010, in a car crash as she returned home from the World Cup concert near Johannesburg.
The driver of the car has been arrested and police said they were investigating a case of culpable homicide and drunk driving.
Nelson Mandela cancelled his appearance at the opening of the World Cup today because of her untimely death.

this world cup has been the most tragic. footballers injured, accidents, too many. now this. mehn i was hearing rumors of some SA juju but i dunno oh. i just hope nothing more happens. abeg oh. not in africa oh.
i simply dont know what to say cos is most tragic.as preye said, one cannot but think of that somewhere at the back of our mind.i just hope its not what we think.
