He had called to inform his wife that he was closeby to their house. Hours after he did not arrive home and his phone unreachable, his wife raised an alarm. She contacted his colleagues who came down and began to search for him.
His remains were later found at a morgue in Benin. Confirming the incident, the state police Public Relations officer, Moses Nkombe, said one person has been arrested in connection with the murder of the deceased. He said investigations is still ongoing and that all those found guilty would be brought to book.
