Lols.... School for olodos.. They will turn olodo to brilliant professor.... In between I know that olodo means something other than the normal olodo we know...
The name of the community is OLODO - 're mi mi' and not olodo as in"a dullard". I did my External WAEC in this school many years ago and made it. The people of this community in Ibadan are very accommodating and largely hunters. After my exams I stayed back to enjoy the village life, I ate many bush animals and went hunting with some of the hunters.
Its actually not what you guys think . OLODO (re mi mi) its a name of an area in ibadan meaning "someone that has mortal" and not "someone that doesnt know book" as you guys are insinuating.
Its the name of a community in Ibadan, actually it does not mean what it seems to you, Yoruba make use of signs on their words (Do\ Re_ Mi/)which makes same words to have different sounds and meanings. the OLODO hare means Oni odo ( the one who has a mortar)as we have it in Oni opa that transforms to olopa, so the oda Olodo means The one who scores Zero and thats not what they meant here. the former Olodo is what they meant which means one who has a mortar.

this is a yoruba word olodo (one with the mortar) not olodo (empty head). The school is on the outskirts of ibadan i think.
Peeps it is not the literal meaning of olodo dullard but oni Odo shorten as Olodo ( mortal owner).
