Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church unveiled The Faith Theatre, a stadium-like 100,000 capacity auditorium. The new project which was revealed yesterday, December 12, at the last night of the Shiloh 2015 program, will not only be a sanctuary of worship but will also have a large shopping mall, food court and other businesses. See photos of what it will look after its done..after the cut..
Oh chai. See foolishness. Couldn't that money be better served by community projects like free education, hospitals? These new generation churches and their focus on business and not bringing up the community. Quite sad really. One day these buildings can be gutted by fire and gone, but investment in community via education and health lasts forever.

He had better make the design to be adaptable for sports as well. It just takes one heavy scandal like embezzlement of funds or sexual abuse for the church to die. In any case without grooming successors while he is young, after his death rivalry will turn all the monuments to dust. It has been the fate of all mega churches world wide including Crystal Cathedral, Billy Graham, Idahosa, Deeper Life, Bethel, Zoe etc. Even major religions do die too. One day so will Christianity.

If u ask me I feel most so called men of God nowadays have really missed it.
This is a good initiative Bt it seems the churches are not really doing enough to tackle the deteriorating situations in the world today. I think more efforts needs to be applied to tackling other pressuring and life threatening challenges affecting not just only Christians around the world but unbelievers.
I'm not judging. Bt God gave us common sense for a reason and his commandments are quite clear.
Nowadays it's more about the church with the best auditorium and facilities than how much efforts are being put into saving lives, bettering communities and so on
