Jos Again...why?


















Men, one of whom is holding a machete, run along a dusty road in Nigeria's central city of Jos December 26, 2010. Clashes broke out between armed Christian and Muslim groups near the central Nigerian city of Jos on Sunday, after Christmas Eve bombings in the region killed more than 30 people.

For this sort of crisis to happen once in the current governor's administration is one thing but for it to happen four or five times should be telling us something that PDP and jonah jang's supporters are not willing to swallow- that the riots are the result of poor leadership, poor education, poor employment prospects for young people and a breakdown in law and order at community, state and federal levels. There is a serious need for a change in leadership and a change in attitudes too- if not, the violence will spread to Abuja.
