Something is afoot in the big apple. Curious statues have been appearing around New York, perching on top of buildings and apparently surveying the traffic pedestrians below. They are about 31 nude statues, made of iron and fiberglass.

Hi Linda.....i happen to be around the big apple and can authoritatively give u information on the naked statues.Its all about the Anthony Gormley's public art exhibition called 'Event Horizon',there are 31 of them located in and around madison square and fifth avenue.They are body castings of Mr Gormley himself.He's trying to create awareness on the environment.They'll be at different locations till the 15th of August.It's a free world out here...........Vhktor A
