the party was nice and over the top in a wasteful extravagant kind of way. esp in the wake of haiti. .the car was just uncalled for, a maybach for someone hu has never worked a day in his life? how do u teach such a child the value of money? there r beautiful cars for 30 thousand dollars(which is still much). maybach is wat the really wealthy people lyk rappers hu earned the paper use. btw that's 53.2 million naira! love you linda!!!! if u have been seing some missed calls frm outside the country, it was meee!

The party was nice in a wasteful extravagant way. $350000 is about 53.2 million naira. A maybach for someone who has never worked a day in his life? the people that ride maybachs include jay z, russell simmons, u know people hu have made a name for themselves and earned their paper. linda u did not even mention the uniformed driver that came with the car since the boy cannot drive. how will the son learn the value of money? but the son doesn't seem proud sha, he seemed grateful, but still...i guess if u can't give your time, money is the next best thing! love you linda!!!!!!! and if u have noticed sme missed calls frm outside the country, na me be dat! lol.(u dn't know me tho)

Nobody's business, Haiti or no Haiti. I am glad he showed his son a good time.Your Leaders in Nigeria live extravagant lives everyday and yet people are suffering over there. has it stopped them?. let him do whatever wants for his son, becos if u were in that position u'd probably do the same. He has the money that he worked hard for, for his family and for himself. You cant tell him how to spend it. Abeg Jolly dey go!

omg! i didn't know my comments were posted. ALL of them r me. @anonymous, wat do our leaders have to do with a 16 yr old boy. so we can't tag something as extravagant because our leaders spend money. don't we also bash them for spending money. It's alright sha, that's ur own opinion.

It's foolish and stupid. It's not because you have money that you must waste it. We must think about the next generation, and it's not even about Haiti it's about what you are teaching the child and scores of other children watching. How did he work hard to get it? Whose money is that? I am glad I do not listen to any of his songs or any of the hip hop and do not contribute to their wealth anymore only to have them flaunt it to the world in such a cheap and irresponsible way. There are many ways to show love to a child and buying that child a car is not one of them, it has never been and it would never be. Love is not for sale.

its his money....you spiteful people. Charity begins at home as Eldee said. You ppl talk about haiti how about the poor people in our country? how have you ppl contributed?

Some folks are just lucky like that and that is life so we have to accept it.
While it does seem wasteful we can't tell anybody how to spend their money.

All I can say is Instead of waking up feeling like Diddy, how about I wake up to his bank accnt. That'd be nicer! lol

When the boy turns to drugs at 17, who'll be to blame? The gift is excessive. A smaller car would have been better.

Inasmuch as I probably wnt buy my son a $350k ride no matter hw rich I am, I am in no place to judge anybody dat does so. Linda didn't put it there but the young chap donated the $12000 cash gift his dad also doled out to the Yclef Jean Yele Haiti trust. Dat's proper up bringing which doesn't guarantee he'll be dat nice in future. D way any child turns out is largely a result of it's choice and depends very little on an overtly lavish birthday!
And the 'Dith' lady I must commend is very mature as regards her comments- I'm yet to see any flaw in her sense of Judgement! Plus being Optimistic really works ooo. U jst myt wake up to Diddy's bank acct after suing Him senseless for sumtin silly he does. Lol

ppl can know how to judge! ah. naija. lol. i dont have any feeling wtsoever about diddy's gift to his child. Its his money, let some people who comment here hit some cash, u'll be surprised at how extravagant they'll be. Infcat, a lot of y'all kinda sound envious and spiteful.
Ease up ppl, He worked for his money.
