A 38-year-old former Miss Argentina has died from complications after undergoing cosmetic surgery on her buttocks.
Solange Magnano, a mother of twins who won the crown in 1994, died of a pulmonary embolism Sunday after three days in critical condition following a gluteoplasty in Buenos Aires.
Close friend Roberto Piazza said the procedure involved injections and the liquid "went to her lungs and brain."
"A woman who had everything lost her life to have a slightly firmer behind," he said.
Magnano's burial Monday was shown on Argentine television.
Dr. Gonzalo Cortes Tristan said she arrived at his hospital with an acute respiratory deficiency. Her condition deteriorated until she suffered the embolism.
A really sad way to go...I feel more sorry for the children she left behind. I still don't understand some people's obsession with cosmetics surgery. I mean if you look this beautiful, what more do you want? *sigh*.

May her soul R.I.P . I really dont understand this pressure to always look perfect, There are many ways in which you can get the perfect derriere. Just do some excercise ( squats ) and theres other things as well. Beyonce and J Lo werent born with big bums, they worked to get it. Money is defintly the root of all evil. For real. Now two kids have lost their mother and a couple of plastic surgeons are a bit richer due to someones demise.

point of correction Linda, she ain't that pretty. as for her dying of cosmetic surgery, well that's her cup of tea. why i said that? well, she saw her that her butt was sagging (which is a normal thing for aging women) but chose to have a firm butt and one more thing WTF was the doctor thinking when he performed the procedure on her knowing that she already had respiratory problems.
Many of those plastic surgeons these days make the procedures sound so pleasing to the ears that one can't help but want to do a kind of procedure. Look at botox, gone are those days when it's unheard of. But now you can go have one during your lunch break from work. It's really a shame.
All types of surgery can result in DEATH!!ALL....either way we will all die...i guess she died form buttocks surgery
