Hi Linda, I commend you for this cancer awareness campaign that you are promoting on your blog, however I think you need to be more careful with the message that this alarmist message sends. You know many people would rather die in ignorance because they fear that diagnosis means faster death. Many forms of cancer aren't deadly when detected early and treated, so I love that you advocate going for a check up, but I hope that you plan a follow up post about genetic factors and other cancer risks, treatments and continue to shed light on the many cancers in the world. Perhaps a stop smoking message is in order as well.
Ur blog is one of the sites i visit every morning before work starts...checking this mornin and seeing all the cancer and death stories really kinda set me back.....
I pray they all find peace during these last hours..God will help us..funny part is that there are some people looking at this pics worldwide now that might even die before them...guess thats how life is...
the choice to go for check up (in the uk) is restricted, at the moment only women over the age of 25 can be screened....there is march to downing stree next week aiming to persuade the government to reduce the age to 18 or 20( i think)...using the NHS is the only way for most people as the price for having a cervical smear test is high...I hope the government can do this, because once caught at an early stage ...this can be stopped from becoming an epidemic.
I never thought cervical cancer kills so fast. thanks for d awareness. poor Goody, i dont knw what to say to her but God bless her soul. Its so pathetic that d vaccine cost so much in Nigeria. i remeber mine cost 45k at my hospital for 3 shot after i had my second kid. what happens to those who cant afford the cost of vacination? Oh God HELP US ALL mALE AND FEMALE, sAFE US FROM DEADLY DISEASES WE PRAY TO U SINCERELY.
