Police officers involved in Badagry lynching get bail

The officers were arrested due to their alleged involvement in the mob action that led to the brutal killing of the two young men as captured by various video clips which later went viral on the internet.
According to our source, Inspector Adefemi Ashogbon, Sergeant John Sanayon and seven other police officers were granted bail due to their deteriorating health in detention and were allowed to seek medical attention pending the outcome of the investigation and date of their trial.
A video recording by some bystanders exposed Inspector Adefemi Ashogbon and Sergeant John Sanayon, who were attached to the Badagry Police station, at the scene of lynching while seven others police officers were detained for allegedly planting guns on the victims and labelling them armed robbers.
Several calls were made to the Lagos state police spokesperson, Ngozi Braide, in a bid to ascertain the grant of bail. However, they went unanswered.

Chris Brown granted bail, assault charge reduced from felony to Misdemeanour
Chris, who has been in custody since the incident, had been ordered to take a drug test, but the judge vacated that order. His bodyguard's charge was also reduced to a misdemeanor.

Instagram deletes Maheeda's page
Maheeda went too far yesterday by posting a pic of one of her male fans masturbating to her photo. It was a pic of a man holding his penis with Maheeda's nude pics opened on his computer. Instagram deleted her page @MaheedaNigeeria because she violated the site's policy on explicit photos.

Enugu state First Lady begs human rights groups to release her from house arrest imposed by her husband
Clara Chime, the First Lady of Enugu State, says Gov. Sullivan Chime, has placed her under house arrest, and has cried out for assistance to human rights bodies to rescue her.
In a letter dripping with pain and suffering, Mrs. Chime (pictured above with Governor Chime) disclosed that she married Mr. Chime in Oct. 2008 but that she has been unable to share the matrimonial bed with him for over four years. Describing her desperate situation, she said that even President Goodluck Jonathan and First Lady Patience Jonathan have intervened with her husband without success.
“My father is late, my Mum and few of my siblings are confused and have done all kinds of prayers they know of, 3 of my siblings prefers me dead than to see me leave the Government house. He treats my Mum and my siblings bad,” she wrote.
Nigerian man jailed in the UK for raping a woman in her own home
Prosecutors said Popoola met his victim while working as an agency-employed bouncer outside Bar So in Northampton town centre. He took her out for drinks then managed to convince the woman to take him back to her home. It was in her home that he attacked her.
Popoola, 34, was jailed for seven years at a court in Northampton on October 18. He was also ordered to sign the Sex Offenders’ Register for life. The court told him he would be automatically deported back to Nigeria on his release from prison.

According to reports Conrad Murray was released from the LA county jail at 12:01 am Monday morning October 28. Murray, who's medical license has been revoked, plans to apply to have his license reinstated.

Can you marry your late elder sister's fiancé three years after her death? The late young lady was actually preparing for the wedding before she died in the car crash. Three years later, her younger sister marries her fiancé. and it got me asking myself plenty questions:1) Is it too early? I mean, it's been three years.2) Has he totally forgotten the deceased girl?3) what if he hasn't, will the new bride bear to see him still thinking about her sister or mourning her on the anniversaries of her death and on her birthdays?4) I wonder if the deceased girl is happy or sad about the situation?(You posted the story of the deceased girl when she died but please, keep it out to protect the innocent). I just feel it's unusual and I've been feeling uncomfortable about it. On the day of girl's burial, the young man actually promised never to leave their family. Little did I know this was what he meant. Sigh.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... at around 4:30 AM Brown got into an argument with a man outside the W Hotel on K Street and allegedly punched him once in the face. We're told the alleged victim never threw a punch.
The alleged victim tells TMZ ... he and a friend were hanging out at the W when they saw two woman about to take a picture with Brown. The victim -- who says he's not a Chris Brown fan -- says he and his buddy photo bombed the 2 woman and Chris went nuts, punching him in the face and breaking his nose.
