Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wore a pair of Ramadan-themed socks during an LGBT Pride parade in Toronto on Sunday. He was first photographed wearing the multi colored socks at a service just before the parade. He also wished attendees a happy “Pride Mubarak”, which is a play on words referencing the end of Ramadan and also LGBT Pride.
The bright colors on the socks he wore is in celebration of LGBT pride while the Islam symbols on it (the star and crescent shaped moon) are in celebration of Ramadan. It was probably his way of giving a nod to both celebrations. Trudeau's wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, and their children Xavier and Ella-Grace, were present at the parade and waved a rainbow flag (one of the symbols of the LGBT community).
In his speech, Trudeau declared:
“This is all about including people. It’s all about how we celebrate the multiple layers of identities that make Canada extraordinary and strong, and today we celebrate with the entire LGBTQ community."

He's a very unserious man
You that your president is not "unserious", how market naah?
See where they are in the West. Trudeau is known to be a straight man, married and all that, yet he and his wife celebrate gays. If only Africans would get educated, and realize that being gay is part of nature, and nothing to be ashamed of.
I love his sock game.
I love his sock game.
@anon05:45. No, we Africans certainly have no plans, neither in the immediate, near nor distant future, to accommodate Sodom.....we are like that. So Ihow about you take your messed up little butt to Canada ASAP before some local boys reconfigure it for you. If our favorite thing around here were "browsing" each other's butt~hole, Africa would have been grossly underpopulated. A pity this is about the only thing we should learn from the bright Canadian PM.
Why mention Africa? Let them take their gay parade to a Muslim country let's see if they won't be lynched.
Being gay is sick
Why offend Moslems all in the name of being politically correct one of the reasons I Trump isn't so bad.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
Linda Ikeji blog visitors slay with their comments!!
It not by. Force, don't force it's on Africans. African has a long way to go compare to the west, we have to improve on other serious issues like social amenities, education, technology etc. Come to think of it, the west has all this things in place before this LGBT campaign began to take place.the west have nothing to worry about. Africans have a lot to attend to so LGBT it not on our agenda. If you know u fall under this category n you live in Nigeria my advice is either you sick help, if you don't want to keep hiding n live a fake life or always fine ways to live nigeria just like Bisi and the rest did. Thanks
But isn't this disrespectful to the Muslims?? Wearing Ramadan socks to a gay pride event and mixing Eid Mubarak with gayness... knowing that Muslims detest being gay?? IMO, this is very disrespectful.
@anonymous 11:56. You made absolutely great sense in your comment & I agree with you totally.
Great comment, anon 11:56 y make sense die
The failure of Africans to 'accommodate Sodom' (anon 08:12 27 June) is nothing to celebrate, considering what goes on in Africa, and considering that so-called 'Sodom' is a human right in the developed world. It continues to baffle me that people who commit straight fornication consider themselves morally superior to gay fornicators. Fornication is fornication. If you have sex with a member of the opposite sex to whom you are not married, you are not morally superior to fornicating gays.
