The accident happened along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway before Sapaade this morning. A car trying to overtake a trailer lost control and crashed into the container. The man and his wife were in the mangled car for a while before rescue came their way...see more photos after the cut...

Thank God that finally help came the way of the man and his wife in the mangled car. People keep trying to make over-takings on the express ways in the most dangerously bizarre manners.

Why are we always in an hurry In this country? Hurry to live and also in an hurry to die. The time It would have cost them to get to their destination if they waited behide the Trailer and bid their time to make a clean overtaking and now after the accident, which is better? They still didn't get to their destination.
Sometimes, when I see this Lagos 'I can drive' Drivers Speeding off and overtaking recklessly. I just say to myself 'that place he's heading to that is making him drive like a Formula 1 driver (for this our Naija made in China road) if he's involved in an Accident. He might not get to the destination again, rather they will gently drive him to the nearest mortuary' Patience is 🔑
We lack patient in this part of the world, everything, everyone in 9ja are always in a hurry.... Please do watchout for those you try to help on the expressway or road because some of them are wolves in sheep clothen
