The video titled ‘Let you know’ was released on Friday August 7, 2009.
The video which features rising talent ‘Pheel’ was shot in Cape Town, South Africa by Mark and Gwydion, the same directing duo responsible for Darey’s previous videos ‘Not the Girl’, ‘More’ and ‘No stars’.
The video plays out a funky and fun concept. Darey and Pheel acting like close friends approach a female dancer who is on a set of a video shoot. Their attitude is boisterous and fun and their interaction with the girl is filled with flirtatious energy. The look is styled, abstract and slightly theatrical.
The song is track 9 on Darey’s second album ‘Un.DAREY.ted

Linda,
i have been playing the song like no man's buzness.
the vid is on point.
Want to see Banky top it. (my money is on Banky...lol)
Awesome vid, crisp,clear quality.
Proudly naija!
He is an average singer but whatever floats your boat. I don't get why the videos have to be done in SA and some1 please explain to me - why the need for white or mixed race girls girls in the videos? Is the slave mentality ever going to leave black people?
Nice one. This video will promote new Darey's album in USA. Has he chance to do something big in United States?
Halima,
SA = very good infrastructure and a lot of talented "video producers".
Also, Darey recorded two very good clips in Cape Town, so it's normal decision.
Look at the best clips in Naija. "Kini Big Deal" - Johannesburg, "Not The Girl" - Cape Town, ", "The only one" - Johannesburg.
Of Course, they could record it in Nigeria, like "Wind am Well", but I think it doesn't matter, because it would be directed by someone from SA.
Don't threat it like slave. South Africa has better video directors that Nigeria.
Jim, i remember people asking if anything good could ever come out of Nigeria. Now look at the country's reputation being repaired through music and nollywood. We have to build up our own. The SA producers started from somewhere but why do we Nigerian's still refuse to look after our own?
I live in the UK and am so proud of what the young ones are achieving in Nigeria but it really gets my goat when i see the videos littered with SA oyinbo's etc.
Nigerians are always afraid to break the mould...everbody follows the same trend. Its time someone dared to be different and backs local producers/directors.
Halima,
I don't know what to say about it.
Maybe because I'm not Nigerian, I don't feel it.
Hmm,
Look at Ikechukwu and other Nigerian hip hop artist. Why they look like American stars? If you want to "Proudly Nigerian Video", they have to wear origin suits.
I'm also very proud of Nigeria. I love, when my friends watch "Kini Big Deal" and ask me "Wow. He is from USA, right?".
But we should wait a lil'bit.
That video was so lame.. what was the point of the girl just dancing. the quality of course was on point, wish it was made in Naija. And ofcourse it's not a darey video until he has white/mixed girls.
Jim.. wind am well was not directed by a south african get it your facts straight! It was a Nigerian, Seyi! which shows Nigerians can do it but we are still stuck in this SA is the next best thing to western life so we'll go there mentality. Nonesense.
I agree with you Halima! If we don't back our own, who will. I think the sad thing about Nigerians is that they will rather pay $1million to an oyinbo person, than pay $10,000 to their own. Nigerians are one of the most talented people in this world. If you pay them the money they deserve to be paid, they will give you what you need. If you paid the oyinbo the crap you pay Nigerians, your video will be crap too.
Stop Nonsense,
I know that Wind Am Well was directed by Seyi("Like You" was directed by him, too).
If Darey recorded TWO very good videos in SA, why he won't do it again?!
Oyinbo? I'm Oyinbo and what? Don't be silly.
This video is very good, so I really don't know what are you talking about.
Jim,
Which of the anonymous are you replying to? and what the heck are you talking about?
If you were replying to anonymous 2:07, no one asked if you were Oyinbo or not, and No one cares to be frank.
The point is well made that Nigerians will always price, beat down the price, haggle their own people and try to pay their own people below the market price, but will rather go out of their budget when it comes to a foreigner. We do it in every aspect of our life. Not just music video, thats the point being made. So I'm kind of lost with your comment. I guess you must have directed the video cause you're taking it too personal.
Omo,
I understand it.
But look. Do you know any director in Nigeria, who could do this video at same level?
Frank Anore can. He was mainframe's former editor. Watch out for his works and u'll find such potentials in them, inspite of the laughable budget artistes pay naija directors.
