Chude Jideonwo (Creative Director-at-large)
Born in 1985, Chude has written for True Love Magazine, Thisday, The Guardian, Made, Big Brother Magazine, Leadership & Lifestyle and he has been editor to a number of magazines including Variety and Tour Nigeria. He also has a career on TV, having worked with Inside Out with Agatha, Let’s talk about it (MBI) and also New Dawn with Funmi Iyanda and briefly with Moments with Mo. His script writing credits include House 4 and the Academy and he has presented on the Sunday Show (NTA), and Patito’s Gang. He is presently presenter of rubbing minds on Channels TV
In 2007, Chude was selected as one of the 101 Young African Leaders by the African Business Forum. He also became arguably the youngest receiver of Nigeria’s most respected media award, Nigeria Media Merit Award, when he was announced as entertainment journalist of the year.
He was called to the Nigerian Bar in November 2007, after emerging as Best Student in Land Law from the University of Lagos, and is presently an Asst. Manager with a leading Nigerian airline.

Born in 1986, he was consultant producer with the Canadian Broadcasting commission, and consultant producer with Lifestyles in Africa with Mnet. He was also Human Resource Consultant with the Close-up Salsa Challenge, as well as working briefly with the Apprentice Africa in publicity and was recently producer and content director of Amstel Malta Box Office reality TV show.
Producer of Rubbing Minds on channels TV, Adebola is also a public speaker who has spoken at the I AM Unique seminars, Top 100 Our Generation, amongst others.

I read the first that says born in 1987, I had to look back to make sure if they meant 1886, and 1887,just kidding. I guess looking at how our older generation is, where they don't encourage the younger generation, and older too to advance their talent except to become doctors,lawyers, engineers or having ten degrees, upon that they lack in common sense, only book smart. It's not bad to be academically achieved, but if the younger generation Nigerians are encouraged more, it will be great, because there are so many talent in Nigeria that needs to be put to good use. If all those old big belle men who are doing nothing for the country will give the younger generation(the true leaders) a chance in the political affairs in Nigeria, people will be surprise of how much change will come.It can be possible that they are that young, and are Nigerians. I'm proud of them. Here in the States, there are many people like that, because it is allowed and encouraged. Obama won because he's young, and will change the old politics that did not bring any change, and bring something new to the table. I'm inspired. I honestly hope to see more Nigerians putting their talent to good use to help the country, and not put it to waste.

Talking about the inauguration,Michelle really looks like she is the back bone of obama n i think she contributes like 60% in his acheivements.
Her gown at the inaugural ball is lovely and their kids are so sweeeeeeeet.

Linda, pls confirm the organizers DOB. I know two out of three of them and i know for a fact that they are much older than that. I know the future awards is centered around the youth and the accomplishments of the future generation, but lets not overhype the issue, if it is necessary to put out their dob then it should be the truth. Your blog usually contains factual information so im sure this is a mistake, but pls try n correct it to maintain the standard of your blog. (I also hope they are not the ones giving out these dates o, cos they aint young like that lol)

I am 23. If anyone cant believe that, the person coulde take an easy walk to the St. Valentine's hospital in Yaba where I was born or the hospital in the UK (where records are kept) where Adebola was born etc to check it out. Perhaps my school records from Mayflower to Unilag?
I got SO angry at first that people would think I would lie about my age! And to see the comments so self-righteously insistent about my own reality, but after a while i guess i understand.
It is a shame that we have such a culture of deceit in our socity that makes us think everyone is dishonest. We have the same problem with our nominees when we say Don Jazzy is 26 for instance or Dbanmj 28 or Tara 30. But that's the point of the future awards - Nigeria has changed, young people are doing so much in so little time. Lets come to terms with it - and be challenged.

Chude, I understand your frustration. I'm the 6th anon, and to be honest my initial reaction was, this is a lie, but I immediately saw the other side that this is possible, because they are many young talented Nigerians out there, when they are given a good guidance. It is time for Nigerians to believe in other Nigerians. I bet you if it was some caucasians that they put up there, everybody will believe it even if the information was not accurate. I told my friend to check it out. I will put my friend on the spot,lol yeah, she can sit down all day, and talk about the bad things going on in Nigeria, but she will still be the first to rep Naija to the fullest. I expected a decent response from her, but all she emphasized on is the inaccuracy of the ages, basically it's a lie, it's just impossible, and she was so adamant about it like she knew them personally. My take on it, whether the age is accurate or not , can we acknowledge their effort. Nigeria has so much potentials to be a better country, but unfornately it's not, and it will take you and I, young and old, to do what we can do to better the country. Everybody's effort should be recognized and appreciated, as long as it is not harming the people, and the country. The future awards is amazing, it is time to recognized our young people. It's sad that the only thing people focus on is just the age inaccuracy. They should be inspiration to everybody, and I'm proud of them.
