Photos: Two female suicide bombers intercepted in Borno

Two female suicide bombers were intercepted in the early hours of today in Ummarari village along Mulai axis off Damboa road, Borno state.

The remains of the suicide bombers have been evacuated while a member of the Civilian Joint Taskforce who was injured during the attack is currently being treated at the state hospital.

Audu Maikori is in a cell with herdsmen, to be charged to court on Monday

Chocolate City Group boss, Audu Maikori, who was rearrested in Abuja last week for alleged incitement and spreading fake information is reportedly being held at the Gabasawa Police Station, Kaduna State where he's said to be sharing same cell with arrested herdsmen, this is according to a report by Punch.

Maikori, who collapsed last week during a Q&A session at Muson Centre, will be charged to court on Monday in a case being handled by the Attorney General of Kaduna State. According to the report, his family and friends were barred from seeing him.

One of the Governor's aides, Mallam Umar Faruq Musa, a Senior Special Assistant, was killed in the accident.

16 mourners killed and coffin smashed by lorry in Zimbabwe (Photos)

 Sixteen mourners were crushed to death when a lorry overturned during a funeral procession in Zimbabwe. The Lorry reportedly struck a pothole near the National University of Science and Technology in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe before it crashed onto vehicles carrying mourners on Wednesday, March 8, 2017.

Illegal Immigrants crossing from Mexico into the U.S. has reduced by 40% since Trump's presidency

Homeland Security chief John Kelly announced that 40 percent fewer illegal immigrants entered the U.S. from Mexico in February than from the previous month. Kelly claimed that the "change in trends" resulted from President Trump’s immigration policies. At least 40 killed in Damascus bombing targeting Shi'ites

The Iraqi foreign ministry confirms that a double bomb attack targeting Shi'ite pilgrims in Damascus killed at least 40 Iraqis and wounded 120 more who were going to pray at a nearby shrine. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack today which the Hezbollah-run al-Manar TV station said had been carried out by two suicide bombers.

New law in Paris says workers are allowed to speak only French on public construction sites

Woman meets her daughter for the first time after waking from a seven-year coma

In what has been described by most as nothing short of a miracle, a woman shocked doctors when she woke from a seven-year coma. 25-year-old Danijela Kovacevic, from Vojvodina, Serbia, had fallen ill after suffering  a traumatic labour in 2009.
She contracted sepsis while giving birth to her daughter Marija and was left in a vegetative state, but surprisingly, seven years later she woke up, surprising Serbian doctors who have never seen anyone survive after being unconscious for that long. Her health is improving and she has met her daughter who is seven-years-old now.

Missing person found!

Missing person, Maranatha Innocent, who went missing on March 8th has returned home. Read here .According to her cousin, Maranatha Igbe, she returned home yesterday evening really battered and unable to speak. She managed to say she was kidnapped from the bank but no further detail has been furnished yet. Maranatha says they will get more details from her when she is able to speak.
