Photo: President Jonathan kneels before late Pres. Yar'Adua's mum

President Jonathan who is currently in Katsina State on a 2-day working visit, went to pay a courtesy visit on Hajia Aya Dada, the mother of his late boss, President Umaru Yar'Adua. He showed her great respect by kneeling before her to greet her.

The mother was not suppose to allow a federal president kneel infront of her. I only hope the president could kneel in church during worship. The president is not only representing himself, but Nigeria as a whole, the mother of the former president is not different from an ordinary Nigerian citizen.A president should kneel like that only infront of God.

Smh...it will take long for our country to improve. ..d seating president kneels before a woman..if he went to borno state and wore red cross uniform to help d wounded and d dying den he would have sent a better message. When stalin of russia and president Regan where brokering d peace treaty to end d cold war and reduce d their atomic weapons and disarmament. Dey met at washington during a cold winter...regan was support to walk outside during dat cold to welcome him into d oval office...did u know dat regan insisted he wont put on an overall jacket..this he said was to project dat he was still young and full of vigor and by extension his country also...whats d whole idea of kneeling bfor EA Adeboye or before yaradua mother. ..dis is not just a clear display of incompetence but a clear disrespect for the office of d presidence...its quite obvious dat GEJ does not understand d enormity and d gravity of d Commander in chief of d armed forces of the sovereign federal republic Nigeria...but I wont say anything again...make we just dey look. He's wasting his time, as he won't get my vote and that of the North.
