End-of-year LIB Giveaway continues! Win 2 Blackberry Passports

I told y'all I will be giving away 10 Blackberry Passports courtesy Blackberry Nigeria. The phones are already in my possession...and they are worth about N150k each. I will be giving away 2 phones everyday from today Dec 15th to Friday Dec. 19th. But to win this is a little different from the random selection I do with the money giveaway. You have to work a little harder to win this...:-)

To win a phone, write a short note on what you like about Blackberry on the comment section. The guys at Blackberry Nigeria will review entries and send names of winners to me. If you win, you will meet me this weekend to collect your phone. If you don't live in Lagos, we will find a way to send the phone to you. Good luck guys...

I love blackberry with many reasons .
BB the HUB can reply to any message in one place without going app to app you know much time that saves???
BB is gesture based I can peek and look at the hub in any app I am in. I can be in any app or game and if I get message from bbm sms or whatsapp I can reply to the message right there and then without leaving the app at all.
we have a built file manage where I can manage my storage for my device internal storage SD card dropbox and box all in one place..on the lock screen preview notifications we can tap and open any message there from the lock screen .
BBM voice calls is extremely clear with natural sound.... everytime I show my BB to people and what it can do its amazing how people are baffled on how smooth and cool the OS . Gaming...productivity...social networking...battery life...on the BB is amazing.
My best is Z10 ,One of my single favorite features found in the Z10 is the HDMI-out port, which lets you easily connect your device to any TV, monitor or display with an HDMI-in port. The HDMI support lets you watch HD video, stream music or share anything else on your device by mirroring its screen on your HD display.
New camera feature in BlackBerry 10 is the TimeShift camera setting, which helps you capture better pictures of groups of people - particularly children, who may have trouble sitting still.
Z10 supports microSD memory cards up to 64GB, which boosts the device's overall storage capacity to 80GB at a time. ( Radnetsys@gmail.com )

BlackBerry Smartphone is basically the first and only wireless handheld device that has created a versatile communication medium asides from the usual phone calls, Text messaging, Call Forwarding, etc which is the BBM. This medium has proved to be very Economical and versatile as one can transfer pictures, relate, and even screen print via this medium. Blackberry devices can record videos, take photos, play music, and perform other functions that assist our day to day running as Nigerians with ease. Blackberry Smartphone can be integrated into organization's email systems through a software package called Blackberry enterprise server (BES). Versions of BES are available for Microsoft outlook Exchange, Lotus Domino, Novell GroupWise and Google Apps. Its screens are QWERTY-laden as well.

Blackberry now has a new operating system which was released for the Blackberry 10 series of BB. i.e. BlackBerry models (Z10 and Q10) on January 30, 2013. Some of the new features of the OS, including a camera which is able to rewind frame-by-frame to allow selection of the best shot, an intelligent, predictive, and adapting keyboard, and a user interface designed around the idea of "flow". Apps are available for blackberry 10 devices through the blackberry world storefront.

Blackberry device Hardware have also been greatly improved on with the production of the Z10 and Q10 Versions. some of this phones are made up of Qualcomm Snapdragon with dual core CPU. The BlackBerry brand has undoubtedly battled competition with ANDRIOD SMARTPHONE makers and I-PHONE Successfully over the years and over large Markets. Did you ever hear that PRESIDENT OBAMA was first known for his dependence on his BLACKBERRY phone for communication during his 2008 presidential election campaign? LOL. Heard that year back.

I am a systems administrator. I receive and send over 25 emails every day. My whole job description runs around it and it’s not an easy task. But I configured my official email on my Blackberry Z10 and since then, sending and receiving emails is just as easy as an SMS.

I love my Z10 but the screen is cracked now.I might need a replacement (passport) lol.

The thing is What do I want with the Internet that my Blackberry doesn't provide me with? Firstly, I dnt have to go thru the stress of buying Megabyte almost every week, Once have subscribed for the month, thats it! Secondly, it gives me quick access to all my Social networks, E-mails and with the emergence of the BB10 series, I have access to android apps like Instagram and the likes. Thirdly, with Blackberry I neva loose my contacts with the help of Blackberry protect, I can always switch my contacts to any Blackberry device of my choice. So tell me why I won't love blackberry? Another thing is Design, blackberry is known to have sleek designs. U just gotta love blackberry. Thumbs Up to Blackberry and Thumbs Up to Linda Ikeji also for this opportunity

I love this phone in particular and everybody who has taste for class and style should also appreciate the phone because outside the fact that the blackberry passport is uniquely built to represent class and style, the phone give its user an edge over other device with its exclusive features, it provides you with a work on the go (WOTG) platform to do your work from anywhere and time again with its physical keyboard QWERTY keyboards paired with the square design of the Passport which makes typing more accurate and efficient and much more easier and convenient to use, especially when writing emails, memos, or documents, a better viewing screen, with its other great features like:enterprise credentials, full turn-by-turn voice-guided Google-map, the powerful on-board editor integrated into the OS,its new syncing system called Blend which makes the content on your phone available across the rest of your devices,BlackBerry’s Assistant which features you won’t find elsewhere, the battery life on the Passport is pretty impressive, i can go on and on listing why this device is more than just a regular smart phone, in a simple word i will just say that the BlackBerry passport is simply the best out of the rest which is why i call it a smarter phone.

There are things about BlackBerry that simply doesn’t let its hard core fans and users like me down,When it comes to technology, Android and iOS devices are at the top of the food chain. So, does that mean BlackBerry is being completely outclassed OR out of the limelight definitely not infact blantantly NEVER!!
Permit me to outlist the reasons i like my BB Gadgets in formal details...
1). Great Keyboards – BlackBerry keyboards are pretty flexible and of great help for fast texting without errors. The keyboards feel way better than touch type. It’s like, you can carry grocery in one hand and text on the other, Amazing huh?
2). Variety in Styles – Frankly speaking, one gets bored of the same old block style. Be it the Samsung Galaxy S5 or the iPhone 5, it’s the same style. With BlackBerry however, you have several unique form factors to choose from – Full QWERTY (Bold/Curve), QWERTY Slider (Torch 9800/9810), Full Touchscreen (Torch 9850/9860 and Z3/Z10), Suretype (Pearl 3G) and QWERTY Flip (Pearl Flip). A style for everyone, all exclusively from BB smart world of possibilities..
3). Can Be Used Anywhere – An unlocked BlackBerry can be used on almost any carrier around the world, so you are not limited to a few specific carriers.
4). Easy Charging – All new BlackBerry phones use a standardize Micro-USB connector for charging and synchronization both for extracting files and sending...
5). International Roaming – Because BlackBerry supports international carriers, international roaming is not an issue. However, am careful with this as the roaming charges from my carrier might be a little challenging.
6). Unlimited Wi-Fi Calling – If the BlackBerry runs on T-Mobile USA, it offers unlimited Wi-Fi calling from any corner of the world. WOW!!!! Thought you would shout this one out.......
7). Expandable Memory – Fit in as many gigabytes as you want! With flexible memory card options, you don’t have to be limited to phone sets that have a set amount of internal memory.
8). Smooth Multitasking – Oh yes. You can browse and answer messages at the same time. Multi-tasking is smooth and flexible in the Blackberry.yummmy right?
9). BlackBerry Messenger – Before WhatsApp, Viber, and all the other new messaging applications arrived the BlackBerry Messenger was king. Many of its features were copied by its competitors and it is still the most secured messaging app on the market. Best of all, it’s FREE!!!
10. Security – There is no debating this one. BlackBerry makes the highest secured mobile phones in the world. There is a reason why the White House uses them and does not allow the President to switch even though he insist on ditching his Blackberry. Am sure most of us dont know this one LOL
11. Email – Simply put, none of BlackBerry’s competitors have been able to match the effectiveness of Blackberry’s distinguished email system.
14. Relatively Inexpensive – The latest BlackBerry can be purchased for at a a very low affordable price tagged from the company’s website. This is at incomparably cheaper than even the least expensive iPhone 5s or Galaxy S4 or Note.
15. Battery Life – Even though battery life differs with each specific BlackBerry phone, in general the average battery life of a BlackBerry cell phone is superior to that of its rivals.
16. Screen Share – Don’t limit yourself to calling and texting. Share your screen with anyone you wish through the BBM app.
17.BBM Social – If you are a developer, the BBM Social Platform API will provide you with access to the social features and functionality of the BlackBerry Messenger, all from within your app.
18.Peek-a-Boo – Newer BlackBerry smartphones allow you to sneak a peek at your latest notifications and messages without the need to switch or exit the current app you are using.

BELOW ARE THE THINGS I LIKE ABOUT BLACKBERRY

The Red light
The click-clacking keyboard
Because of Business and
The Blackberry Internet Services (BIS)

That red light
On top of every BlackBerry, there's a little sliver of a red light, and it blinks at you when a new message or call comes in. I am seriously addicted to that light.
“It's one of the things that always calls me back to my BlackBerry."
Of course, other phones have ways of alerting people to new messages too, but none has the same feel as that BlackBerry light.

The click-clacking keyboard
The click of the keys, how the buttons are raised just so and the shift key -- is just as easy to use as those on a full-size computer keyboard. I can type up to 35 words within a minus using blackberry. It is really nice how far the buttons stick up -- and I can really feel the click.

Because of Business
Blackberry is not designed to run flashy applications, for playing games or for uploading pictures to Facebook and Twitter. I like it because is a business-minded device.
BlackBerry is known for being secure. It encrypts messages, which makes business owners more comfortable giving the phones to their employees, who may share sensitive documents and e-mails over the phones.

The Blackberry Internet Services (BIS)
The BIS also amazes me unlike other smart phones that do not have plan for data bundle except for Airtel that recently introduced for Androids.
You still cannot compare it with my BIS.

Blackberry bold1 was my first ever smart phone purchased in 2009. The first smartphone with the unique BBM feature that brought closeness among friends, family and a strategy for marketing products. It supports top social media apps and are of high quality. Soon i switched to bold2 and then bold 5 before the introduction of bb10. I have used a z10, likewise a Q10 which I am currently using. What I find unique is the cameral quality, HDMI feature and processor which eliminated freezing problems faced with older blackberry devices. Blackberry keeps getting better I must say and it is a good value for money. A blackberry product is a smart phone I can buy even as a fairly used because of the high durability chances. I am fascinated with the blackberry passport having had the chance to test run it at a local shop. I am fond of tablets with mini-sized screen. Blackberry passport fit my needs in terms of serving as a smartphone with a comfortable keyboard, it is well built and all the buttons have a great click and classy. I like the fact that this brilliant device has batteries that are not removable. It is user friendly with virtual and physical keys during typing. The built in touch sensitivity is thrilling. Reading/Editing emails is so comfortable and feels almost like using a PC. Few of the apps I ran are of good quality and one thing about the OS is the way one can get around is really quick and efficient.

I dream to own this phone.

Well honestly I know blackberry was like the innovator of bringing a social media to your phone and at your comfort and still mixed it up with the business and basic needs of a mobile phone, before blackberry came about, people lacked the ability to communicate with each other and be socially active easily and your fingertips. It has lovely functions, it's like Mercedes in the car industry, blackberry transformed the world, it created the awareness of the world being a global village, sharing moments with each other, being able to communicate and very cheaply and affordable,NUC an snap or record moments and share with the world, it just took the whole mobile phone industry to a whole new level, brought about competition, to me blackberry was the innovator of the phones we are seeing and using nowadays and it never has lost touch of giving you the business functions, it never lost touch of the class and creativity it brought. I think they should get more credit than what they deserve. It's amazing how when blackberry came out, we Nigerians never saw this recent trend in mobile phones coming. Every design tells a story, the every model keeps getting better and satisfying more needs than what people can even imagine on a mobile phone. It successfully transformed the world

There are phones and there are phones, but Blackberry will always be my favourite. I love the fact that the Blackberry company keeps coming up with new modifications and innovations in design to suit the Customers ' need. For example, you can use instagram on the new Blackberry phones and even other apps which was thought to be only on Android phones. I love Blackberry because it is very very user friendly. Most phones now have features which originated from Blackberry such as Led light, charging port etc. And what is the goal of every company if not to satisfy its Customers?I love many things about Blackberry. Talking about the Blackberry messenger, it is the best chat app ever. You can easily know those that ignore your pings with the "read and delivered" feature. It also has very creative and funny smileys, that helps you express what you actually feel at that point in time when chatting. It makes chatting fun! BBM helps you stay connected to whats going on around you and in the society, via the instant updates of Display pictures and Personal Messages. You are never dull on BBM! Even though its on other phones, Blackberry has carved a superb niche for itself by inventing BBM which can never be eradicated for ages to come! I love blackberry because it is affordable even for the middle and low class. If you cant even afford a Porsche or Q10 or Z10 or Q5,you can still afford a Bold or Curve and still do your subscription with One thousand naira. You can still ping, tweet, download, use facebook etc with that same One thousand naira for a whole month! Oh how can I forget the Led light! The red light makes me know easily when I get a message, without having to drain my battery with frequent notification tones. The yellow notifies me of a low battery. I easily know when I have an email, sms, facebook notification, or tweeter notification. I easily see the notifications displayed on the home screen. It also helps me remember my friends ' birthday and other events: which am bad at, via the calender and facebook notification. This has helped me so many times as I get a notification a day before. I also like the fact that I can easily download songs and videos,I can easily surf the net, I can easily read Linda Ikeji's blog and enjoy the various funny comments when have had a long day which makes me laugh, and I get notifications on my Blackberry phone each time she updates her blog via twitter. You cant easily do this with a phone that requires buying data subscriptions, cos your MB will just finish sharp sharp. But with BIS, I have no problem. I can go on and on, but I will never trade my Blackberry for anything!!

Of all the reasons why i like Blackberry phones i think it boils down to 3 major reasons:
1. The qwerty keyboard: Take it or leave it blackberry phones have the most amazing, intuitive and productivity enhanced keyboard in the market. i get to type faster with lesser chances of error's or typos. It makes chatting/texting more fun. haha!
2. The operating system: the "OS" is one of the most functional there is, especially the recent bb 10 based on the QNX operating system. navigation is buttery smooth and less app crashes. I especially love the swipe/gesture based UI. its quite innovative and very functional. and it support most android apps so i get to do instagram, kik etc and play games such as temple run, candy crush. cool!.
3.BIS data plans: The data plans for blackberry smartphones is way cheaper compared to those of other smartphones like android & iphones. which means i get to pay less for more productivity and functionality. that's a double win for me yay!.

I hope to be among the lucky winners of the new blackberry passport. lots of love blackberry.

I have been a Blackberry Bold5 addict for a while. And I really don't see myself letting go of a Blackberry devices. I won a Sony Z1 during the Rexona Selfie Competition at the just concluded Worldcup. Yeah it had it Waterproof effect, 20MP camera and stuffs...but still couldn't beat my broken screen blackberry bold 5. The keypad is unique and it's touchscreen function is pretty cool. The new series of BlackBerry devices are state of art with applications and software that will give you that whoa effect of having a mini-computer on the go....the only thing that can get me off my Bold 5...is another BB phone...and BB-Passport could do the trick. We all know...that BB can send emails, pings, whatsapp...check linda ikeji blog...What I think is unique about everybody statement is their experience....not the full RIM or Javascript stuff... What matters most are those moments our camera's have captured...beautiful notifications U get when DonJazzy retweets URtweets...those moments are what makes our bb unique.....so...I hope with these few points of mine...I have spoken to your heart...that hey...it is time to get me off my bold...unto a passport!!!

BLACKBERRY
BlackBerry. Back in 2009 the name meant phones, security and success. If you wanted a smartphone you only had one real option – a BlackBerry. Fast forward to 2014, however, and Canada’s biggest export since double-denim, following two years of lay-offs, tanking share prices and CEO switches, has come to stand for something else entirely. So much so, in fact, that BlackBerry is now an outsider (fourth, behind iOS, Android and Windows Phone) in the very industry it helped create.

So, is it too late for BlackBerry?
In a word: NO – not by a long shot. The company has a new CEO, John Chen, who is slowly but surely bringing life back into BlackBerry’s balance sheets, a solid, workable mobile OS and plenty of operating cash to see it through the year (around $3 billion, last time we checked). There was quite a bit of trepidation over whether BlackBerry would remain in the handset-building game, after word got out about the company considering a switch to a “platform and services-only” approach. This didn’t happen, of course, and now we have the BlackBerry Passport, which doesn’t really need any introductions whatsoever –– it’s THAT square phone you’ve been hearing so much about these past few weeks.

The Blackberry devices
There are various types of blackberry devices from the days of 6720, 6230, pearl flip, pearl, curve, bold, world edition and so on. This are devices you can’t push aside.
Theres no way you want to talk about blackberry products and leave the passport out. Its a very interesting device and very easy to go about.
If you want to get people talking, give them something interesting to talk about. And in a world of rectangular slabs dominated by two platforms, it’s good to see something a little more eccentric with regards to design. Yes, the iPhone 6 is gorgeous. And, yes, the LG G3 and HTC One M8 are beautifully designed smartphones with excellent operating systems, but variety (at least, outside the mobile space) is considered the spice of life, and for the longest time nothing of note has really happened in the arena of phone design.
They just seem to be getting bigger –– A LOT bigger. Hell, even Apple’s getting in on the act with the iPhone 6 plus which is now one of the largest handsets money can buy, save for the newly released Google Nexus 6.

Blackberry has been one of the most successful on the planet earth with millions of customer and its just the beginning of a great device.

For me, I think the signature indicator lights of blackberry phones are a big deal for me.
I also like the keyboard of the phone. But most importantly, I like how the passport phone design is suitable for organisation use with a touch for personal use.
Although it supports android apps, i prefer the native bb apps like bbm which i am loyal to. i cant go a day without accessing my bbm.
Finally, the fact that the size of the blackberry passport is averagely sized is a big deal for me.
Thanks

My smartphone of choice is a BlackBerry!! BlackBerry’s devices have always been productivity masterpieces. Blackberry is a tried and true device. It is also very solid. Blackberry is all about efficiency.
I love my Blackberry because I can receive my emails, reply and send. Open my Facebook and Twitter accounts.
At the heart of this productivity is the BlackBerry Hub, a central hub with all your emails, texts, etc. The BlackBerry Hub is like my central inbox. The touch screen just works. No lag, no messing around.
I love my blackberry so much because it has so many cool features.

When I bought my blackberry Q10, I thank God that the qwerty keyboard has not be removed. The qwerty board is what I like most in blackberry. the convinience it brings with typing. I have come to be known as a blackberry person in my office and at home. When the blackberry passport was release I told whoever care to listne that I will be upgrading to the passport as soon as I have money. Another things I like with blackberry is the cheap data I can surbscribe for on it, low consumption of data and the security features.
I started from a curve 2 to a bb touch and am currently using a bb q10. Either I win this passport or not, passport is my next target phone. The big screen and my beloved qwerty keyboard. Things I can do on blackberry just got better. I can do virtually everything people do on there android and other OS phones on my blackberry and even do much more. Please give these phones to the people that will use them and appreciate them. I intend to pass on my q10 to my sister as soon as I get my Blackberry passport. I am that loyal to BB that I didnot bother to even check other features of the bb passport. The qwerty keyboard is enough for me.

I actually tried to let Linda know this morning through the comment section that its high time she changed the game plan of this giveaway so as to really get serious and intelligent comments and not these regular 'yayyy' yea' commenters who just rushed to open google accounts with the hope of winning, stealin the chances of those who truly deserve to win. I must say I really truly love this twist. Thanks Blackberry!

I love my Blackberry! It is my passport to the world and beyond. Even though I use the older 9630 tour, it still does so much for me. This goes on to show how powerful Blackberry is, no matter the model, no matter the number.
My Blackberry allows me to keep in touch first and foremost with family n loved ones.
The ability to multi-task also reduces my workload and increases my efficiency immensely. As a student, I do my research on my Blackberry and this puts me far ahead of my colleagues.
Most of all, if you work hard, you play hard. Lol. Blackberry allows me to do this when I play their very entertainin and educative games, and I take beatiful pics while havin fun.

My first phone was Blackberry curve 2. It introduced me to the world of Blackberry phone ever. The QWERTY keypad made typing so easy for me. Of course with the unrivaled fact that data subscription on Blackberry is far more economical for savers like me. I later moved up to Blackberry Bold 5 which afforded me even more convenient browsing experience with larger screen and less data overload promptings. Currently, I am using Blackberry Q5, which for me is a fuller experience of Blackberry 10. The inbuilt battery makes it so tidy and less cumbersome (less caution of its falling and scattering and possible battery loss and exposure to destructive elements) for me to worry about it's carryabout. Ultimately the Blackbery 10 experience which sort of synchronises with the Android apps market leaves me in a robust delightsomeness of having almost all my apps need met without wondering much if to switch phones to enjoy this variety offer under one world! Blackberry Passport has been my utmost dream of Blackberry world experience which I know would be my end of search for a limitless phone operation in the present distractions vis-a-vis a cost effective data management system.

It's Blackberry all the way for me.

Thank you

First Of all Blackberry was Founded By "Mike Lazaridis". Born March 14, 1961(age 53) Istanbul, Turkey.

BlackBerry itself is refers to a line of wireless handheld devices and services designed and marketed by BlackBerry Limited, formerly it was known as Research In Motion Limited (RIM) BlackBerry. Is a devices that can record video, take photos, play music and also provide functions such as web-browsing, email messaging, instant messaging, and the multi-platform BlackBerry Messenger service.

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT BLACKBERRY

Number 1: BlackBerry PIN Number

Every BlackBerry has a unique number called a PIN number. This number is part of the BlackBerry itself and cannot be changed, even if you switch the SIM card. When you receive your new BlackBerry, one of the first things you should do, is find out it's PIN number. I think these made blackberry so popular *LOL*

Number 2: Save time with AutoText

AutoText is a feature that is built into the BlackBerry. It is a mechanism that watches what you type, and then switches your word for a new one as soon as you hit space. For example, if you typeacninstead ofcan, the BlackBerry replacesacnwithcanas soon as you hit space. These is one Feature that makes blackberry look like a computer.

Number 3: Typing Shortcuts

There are a few typing shortcuts that further speed up
BlackBerry typing. Press twice to get a period plus a space. Hold a letter to switch it to a capital letter. The BlackBerry automatically capitalizes the first letter after a period so this would be used when typing a name in the middle of a sentence, etc. These is another Features that makes blackberry look like a comptuer *LOL*

Number 4: Use your BlackBerry as a Thumb Drive

If you have a memory card in your BlackBerry and you connect it to a computer with its USB cable (PC or Mac, Windows, Linux, or OSX), the BlackBerry pops up a message "Do you want to turn on Mass Storage Mode?". If you say yes, your computer will see the BlackBerry as a new drive letter. You will be able to drag and drop anything from your computer to and from the BlackBerry. This is a quick way to get media to your BlackBerry, but more importantly it allows you to carry around important documents with you all the time. These Is another important feature about Blackberry.

Number 5 : BlackBerry Desktop Software

Blackberry Desktop Software it is very beneficial to me It allows you to easily move audio and video files onto your BlackBerry (even converts them to the correct format automatically) and synchronizes your address book and calendar.

Number 6 : Personalize your BlackBerry

As a user you can make your BlackBerry truely yours by completely personalizing it. You can start by simply changing the ringtone, or maybe the wallpaper, or go all the way and install new themes. BlackBerry themes change all aspects of your BlackBerry including the fonts, wallpaper, icons, and screen layout.

Number 7 : It Saves Data Bundle

Here is Final Fact I liked about blackberry.. It has reali save a lot Nigeria's From these andriod Data Rate Nothing Much to say because you and I know that's * LOL*

As a a BlackBerry 10 User. These are what I Love about my BB10.
The hardware isn't revolutionary, but it is solid and on par with other high end black slab phones.
The BlackBerry Hub, through the
BlackBerry Hub,I love how I can have several services set up and keep in touch with people in one central place on the phone that is extremely easy to access from anywherewith a couple simple gestures. BIS/BES not compulsory as I could use my bb10 with credit units without subscripion, futhermore, All platforms have great keyboards
and lately I have been loving Swype and SwiftKey on Android. However, the predictive implementation on BlackBerry 10 is unique and efficient and I know I have found my new favorite smartphone keyboard.
Talk about the BlackBerry Remember and Evernote, as a huge fan of
Evernote I like when it is integrated with other android. The Fast web browser on BB 10 is a
pleasure to use. It is fast, supports multiple tabs..
Lest I forget, the High resolution display: as a fan of high resolution displays and the 4.2 inch 1280x768 pixels resolution display
with 356 ppi looks fantastic. I like that it is large, yet still helps make the device very pocketable too. Lastly, HDMI out, microSD, removable battery: Somemanufacturers limit the consumer with hardware, but on the Z10 you get to control how you watch media, how muchmemory your device has, and whether or not you wish tocarry extra batteries to go days without connecting to power.
Overall, there is a lot of reasons why I like the blackberry...
Nb: when using blackberry's not running on bb10 you spend less to get more.
Thank you blackberry.

In reality, the BlackBerry is becoming the phone for independent thinkers and non-conformists like me.
Below are five things I like about blackberry:

BlackBerry Hub
BlackBerry Hub is arguably BB best feature, and I think every smartphone OS should have a Hub of its own. It’s the feature every BB user shows off first when they show you their smartphone. Hub is where all the communication happens; it’s a central place where you can access every email, SMS, Facebook and WhatsApp message — and just about everything else you send and receive. It’s a little bit like a notification center, but a lot better. It’s not just a list of alerts that divert you to other apps; everything happens inside the Hub. So no matter what the notification you receive, you go to the Hub to read it — and to reply to it, comment on it, delete it, etc

BlackBerry Keyboard

If you ask any tech writer who has used BB what their opinion is on the keyboard, the vast majority will tell you it’s incredible. It’s the best there is on mobile, and it’s a massive shame that it hasn’t been ported to Android yet. Not only is it incredible accurate, but it has a terrific prediction feature that makes typing emails and text messages super fast.

As you type on the BB keyboard, it puts next word suggestions above different keys, and you can perform a short swipe up from the key to insert the whole word. Of course, the more you type, the better the keyboard understands you, and so it becomes more useful and more efficient overtime

Smart Universal Search

BB search function doesn’t just help you find apps, contacts, and other data stored on your smartphone, but it’ll also provide actions and handy shortcuts, too. For example, you can type things like “Text Alex,” and it will give you a shortcut to a new message to Alex. If you type “Note buy strawberries on the way home,” it’ll create a new note with your text included. You can post tweets using this method, too.

BlackBerry Balance

If you use your smartphone for business and pleasure, then a feature like BlackBerry Balance is priceless. Balance essentially provides a BB device with two identities, then lets you quickly switch between them depending on what you’re using your smartphone for.

So you can have a personal identity that’s home to everything you use outside of work, and a business identity with its own apps, data, home screen layout, and wallpaper. Both are completely separate from each other, so you can’t access certain business data from the personal side, or share business data with personal contacts — and switching between the two takes seconds

Time Shift

Last but by no means least, BB Time Shift feature is what makes its camera app so useful — particularly for parents. When you take a picture with Time Shift, it captures a bunch of images at once to help you get the perfect shot. I know what you’re thinking — other smartphones do this, too — but not in the same way BB does.Rather than presenting that bunch of images to you and asking you to choose which one you want to keep, Time Shift lets you cycle through individual faces. So if there are multiple people in the picture, you can ensure only the best poses are included in your final snap

Thank you.

When it comes to mobile technology, I prefer and will always love the Blackberry OS smart phones, second to android OS. Thank God for the New OS 10 on Blackberry Z and Q series, the Blackberry can now compete with other Smart phones in the market and can stand with its head Tall above others.
First and foremost, I love the Blackberry for its Keyboards (especially the Bold 5 and Q series), they are very flexible and makes for fast texting without errors. Also no other phone has been able to master the Slide Technique than Blackberry (The Torch Series). They slide up so cool with no side effects. Blackberry also supports International Roaming more than any other device because of their international carrier support
Blackberry is also the master of Social media, the social media applications integrates seamlessly and of course the Master of them all; the BBM which is what is making other Mobile devices gain popularity is owned by Blackberry, so other Device owes their increase in sales to Blackberry. When you talk of smooth Multitasking – Will the Real Blackberry please stand up? You can browse, Ping, text all at the same time. Multi-tasking is so smooth and flexible in the Blackberry.
Blackberry has the best mobile Security – There is no contesting this one. BlackBerry makes the highest secured mobile phones in the world. You Can browse without the Fear of Virus or Hacking. Finally Blackberry email integration is the best. I have not been able to integrate my company private mail on my Android OS, but I was able to set it up automatically on my Blackberry Device without any hitch.
Definitely, if you want to impress on the mobile world – GET A BLACKBERRY.!!

Wow! God is a great God.
That aside.
I love my 9630 Tour. Its my passport to the world but I still want this Blackberry Passport. I heard its the passport to space! *winks

ne of my favorite free apps is "Slacker", which is
basically free internet radio, where you select
whatever genre of music you like (ex: rock, rap,
electric, latin, etc.) and they'll play full songs from
that genre for you. You have the option to skip
songs you do not like, add artists as your favorite
artists so the station plays them more often, black
artists or songs that you do not like, look up
information on songs and band, and when you
find a song you really love you have the option to
directly download that song to your Blackberry.

short note;brief n concise
The subscription is highly economical.
blackberry doesn't update application itself..
need I say you can recover all lost files if you have a backup or blackberry protect.
battery is strong n efficient.
blackberry repairs memory card immediately you insert it,which phone does that.
Even if you have a flat battery, you can still use ur phone by dialling a code n it restores connection..thank you.

I chose to stick with blackberry because of several reason even when some of my friends went after androids and some other devices, few of the reasons I will discuss here

1. The screens have very high resolution, and they offer the biggest screens while having physical keyboards.

2. They have some of the best, if not best cameras in the market. 3.2 MP cameras are things that no one had sometimes ago, and it even has auto focus and flash. Two things that over 95% of the phones in the market do not have.‎

3. They have keyboards that are better than any other handheld full-seized keyboards in the market, and I dare you to find one phone with a better keyboard than the Blackberry Tour, Bold, or even Curve. ‎

4. It sure beats the WinMo phone's interphase, Palm's both old and "new" UI, and Apple's iPhone's UI is extremely outdated, and is often criticized by popular gadget blogs such as Engadget and Gizmodo for being so outdated. You might just own a very old BlackBerry, or are just a touch screen lover. You cannot compare a touch screen phone to a non-touch screen one. They're on two separate playing fields, but I still prefer my BB over any touch screen phone.‎

When I got my BlackBerry, I immediately asked my company's IT Support if I could connect my phone to our BlackBerry Enterprise Server so that I could access my Lotus Notes Email account on my phone. After paying for a license, they gave me access to our Enterprise Email Server. And so now, I have no reason not to respond to an important email even when I'm out of the office. That's what you get for being "connected all the time."

Seriously, it's no wonder that the BlackBerry is touted as an enterprise phone. The ease of setting up your company's email account and the idea of getting employees to stay connected 24/7 in a cost-efficient manner is definitely appealing to businesses.

For me it's The efficiency of the messaging system as well as fluidity of the OS. The seamless (read button-less) interaction with the phone just feels right. The whole screen is one big button on a touch device yet other companies still need a home button... Battery life is a big thing as well.... For me having the option to use flash is a big one. I'm not huge on apps and like to use the browser for a lot of what I do instead of getting a dedicated app, so being able to stream a hockey game in flash on the CBC website is a nice plus for me....The system doesn't bog or hang with multiple apps open and it just works as it should. The one downside (can I even call it that?) to the new OS and peek/flow management style is people need to learn it to appreciate it.
I forget how capable this device is sometimes. HDMI out, mirracast, android runtime, flash, USB OTG .I love the in-app message displays that 10.2 brought in. The hub in general does an amazing job "attempting" to develop some kind of order to the dozen email, chat, text, social media services that bombard people with messages daily. However I still contend that the Q10 is the best smartphone Ive ever owned
Typing on the Z10 is amazing and I love how fast I can pound out email and text...
I'm a corporate user of the BlackBerry and that's what sets it apart .I'm a full supporter of BlackBerry for all these reasons. Thanks..... deppeerless@gmail.com

I like the current Blackberry OS because it has lots of new and amazing features such as the blackberry hub which allows for multitasking as all your notifications can be viewed in one place which saves you from having to click each application which makes for a better chatting experience along with the fact that you can also check your mail, edit your evernote, reply your mails, reply your chats as well as accept invite all at once. Also, the camera feature is amazing as it as a face detection feature that helps the owner scroll to the point where the picture was perfect and then choose that which makes for a better selfie experience.

That aside.
I love my 9630 Tour. Its my passport to the world but I still want this Blackberry Passport. I heard its the passport to space! *winks

Reason why I like Blackberry

To be sincere I fell in love with BB because of pinging, I bought my first BB curve 4 in February 2012 for 54,000 at FineBrothers Enugu. As I started using it I found out about other features like receiving emails, which is very important to me. And there was a day my BB really help in my class presentation, I used the power point features it has under Docs To Go, to correct my assignment/presentation.

The only problem I think Blackberry has is that, it hangs sometimes, which can be annoying most of the time.

BlackBerry has made life so interesting. I am able to access the Internet with ease and share happenings around me with my family and friends.
I love the fact that I can multi -task with my BlackBerry phone and have multiple applications run at the same time .
Above all, I love the fact that I can do all these on my BlackBerry phone without expert knowledge.

I'm a loyal fan and I can't trade my BlackBerry Phone for another kind of phone.

Long live BlackBerry.

The BlackBerry Passport is big –– very BIG –– it’s square AND it has a physical keyboard, which also doubles as a trackpad for scrolling around menus, apps and webpages. And all of that has caused a lot of people to write the handset off as nothing more than a mobile version of a bearded lady, labelling it a freak that’s kind of interesting but hardly convenient in normal, everyday life. But here’s the thing: this sentiment couldn’t be further from the truth.

Measuring in at 128 x 90.3 x 9.3 mm, the BlackBerry Passport, like all good things, is more than a handful. You can’t really use it comfortably with one hand, but so what? I can’t use my Infinix with one hand all that well. Ditto the iPhone 6 Plus. The Passport weighs in at 196g and is heavier than anything the company has ever produced. It is also more premium than anything BlackBerry has turned out in living memory, with a gorgeous metal frame, high-grade polycarbonate backing, pitch-perfect keyboard, and an ultra-high-resolution 4.5in display.

As I see it there are two talking points regarding the Passport’s design: it’s keyboard and the display. The former is a full QWERTY setup arranged over three rows with the space bar housed centrally on the bottom line of keys. BlackBerry says this is the best keyboard it has ever produced, and it really is –– it surpasses the Q10’s setup in everyway. And the main reason for this is because it is A LOT smarter. On top of that it is more fully integrated with BB10 and the overall experience of using the phone.

I really liked the BlackBerry Q10 and used it as my daily driver for a good six months, but in the end I still ended up going back to Android. I Know the Passport is better than the Q10 because it takes the principles that made it great (an excellent QWERTY combined with a decent OS) and evolves it into a handset that feels like a proper, full-on 2014 flagship – something that can and will (in some instances) replace an iPhone or Android handset and this is my option on this wonder called Passport.

I so much second her.

short note;brief n concise
The subscription is highly economical.
blackberry doesn't update application itself..
need I say you can recover all lost files if you have a backup or blackberry protect.
battery is strong n efficient.
blackberry repairs memory card immediately you insert it,which phone does that.
Even if you have a flat battery, you can still use ur phone by dialling a code n it restores connection..thank you.

Simple reason why i like Blackberry.
First of all, Blackberry was the first to start the unique identification for chats(pin). I still respect Blackberry so much for holding that uniqueness for so long.
Blackberry also is so easy to use, user friendly and i think they were also one of the first to introduce multiple applications to be opened all at once.
Blackberry has this uniqueness and despite the challenges they encounter Blackberry still manages to come out stronger than what it was. I still remember the first OS now where is Blackberry? BB10.
I can't stop using Blackberry because it inspires me. When i read about the phone, challenges and all and how they manage to come out of it, it inspires me and makes me stronger. So it is not all about the specifications yes, i know that matters but it goes beyond that for me.

In the early years of the BlackBerry, all handsets had a full QWERTY physical keyboard rather than limiting text entry to a numerical keypad or a touch screen's virtual keyboard. The physical keyboard was a major advantage for businesspeople who sent a lot of messages and emails. Manufacturers Research in Motion experimented with touch screens but, in early 2014, announced it would predominantly use physical keyboards in future handsets.
WHAT I LIKE ABOUT BLACKBERRY PASSPORT:
Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 with 2.2GHz Quad-Core CPUs (MSM8974-AA) Adreno 330, 450MHz GPU it would make me access easier and faster.
Battery: 3450mAH integrated non-removable battery.
Sensors: Accelerometer, Magnetometer, Gyroscope, Time of Flight (ToF) and Ambient light
Power - Battery Life: Up to 14 hours GSM talk time; Up to 14.5 days GSM standby time; Up to 24 hours UMTS talk time; Up to 14.5 days UMTS standby time; Up to 91 hours audio playback; Up to 11 hours video playback
Resolution: 1440 x 1440 resolution and 24-bit colour depth.
Screen size: 4.5" diagonal and 1:1 aspect ratio.
Memory: 3 GB RAM, 32 GB Flash.
Camera & video - Rear camera: 13 megapixel auto-focus camera, Optical image stabilization (OIS), 5-element f2.0 lens, Back Side Illumination, LED flash, continuous and touch to focus, image stabilization, 5x digital zoom, 6DOF video stabilization and 1080p HD video recording at 60fps.
Network & connectivity – Network bands: FD-LTE 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 13, 17, 20; (2100/1900/1800/1700/850/2600/900/700/700/800 MHz); HSPA+ 1, 2, 4, 5/6, 8; (2100/1900/1700/850/900 MHz) and Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz).

BlackBerry has an Enterprise Server system that allows users to send and receive emails from a business account in a secure format, synchronizing with their work computer. Emails are transmitted on a push basis, meaning they are actively sent to the phone like a text, rather than forcing the user to manually log in to an account and check for messages. The Enterprise Server system allows company IT staff tight controls over the kinds of access users have to read and edit company data through both email and other applications.
BlackBerry handsets allow for instant text message communication with other BlackBerry users, with no per-message charge. Messaging works by PIN rather than phone number, meaning you can let acquaintances message you while reserving your phone number for close friends or colleagues.

In short its the red light. On top of every BlackBerry, there's a little sliver of a red light, and it blinks at you when a new message or call comes in.
I get seriously addicted to that light.other phones have ways of alerting people to new messages too,but none has been better than that BlackBerry light...olajideajila@yahoo.com, 07061009073

Blackberry phones are cool and classy.
The all new Blackberry Passport is no exception because of its exciting features such as:
1. Premium design and finish
2. QUERTY keyboard
3. Gorgeous display
4. Decent camera
5. Excellent battery
6.Snap for getting access to android apps
7. BB hub which is awesome for notifications.

I love blackberry because
BB the HUB can reply to any message in one place without going app to app you know much time that saves???

Been using a bold 2 for long now but still so in love with it.
1. Apart from the fact that data ON BLACKBERRY is far cheaper than any android data plan, I seem to belong to the league of happening babes (you don't have a BB,means you gat wake up)
2. BB world is so not like any playstore, love the exclusivity & the zillions of app one cant imagine exist.
3. Just even noticed my android phone cant not remind me of birthday until i download app for that despite the fact that i have my social network all running. With my BB, I just heard the beep & wish friends happy birthday. this is cool & helping my relationships.
4. Am a photo freak & no matter the MP other phone camera comes with, the quality just doesn't seem pleasing to me.
5. With my BB, I don't need to update same status different on different social media, can do it on one & it comes alive on others. say I update my facebook status, my BBM contacts get to see it. Isn't that cool??*wink*
6. The keyboard is just another advantage & yeah cant forget the indicator light cause am yet to see any other phone with the feature (might me wrong though)
7. Finally I just need to step up...Blackberry passport & am a queen!!!...Edith4cool@yahoo.com

Wow Linda this one hard small oo. Its out of your Hands now since its pp at Blackberry Nigeria that will go tru comments and choose whoever gets these BBs. I will see if i can get one sha. and i will post just this comments for the 5 days the promo runs. Since about 1000 readers already commented, i guess am out of the freebies for today. Will try again in the next few days and see what i get lol.

okay... here is my short note why i like and prefer BB.

I LIKE MY BLACKBERRY FOR 3 MAJOR REASON WHICH IS SUMMARIZED AS FOLLOWS.

1.More efficient internet structure: BB provides access to an unlimited internet data plan and at the least it provides more internet data at a lower cost than any other phone brand.BB pioneered this structure

2.More efficient mail structure: BB provides the most robust and easy to use email structure. BB pioneered easy access to emails.

3.Most dynamic chat system. BBM redefined chatting on phone and created the platform for whatsapp to enter. At a point people were so used to BBM dat it became a phenomenon, people cud literally be sleeping and chattin on BBM. BBM pioneered so much chat innovations like; no login required, sending of pix n voice, etc

Goodluck to me and everyone else

The blackberry is the first phone that brought about the usage and enjoyment of smart phones in Nigeria.. the first time I owned a blackberry, was one of the happiest moments in my life. I cannot do without my blackberry till date. And no other phone has beat the blackberry service till date, it is the best service! Very affordable and reliable. We all started with the blackberry. I also love the new improvements whereby BlackBerry can run android apps.. it's just the best thing that happened, all I need is on my blackberry already..we all started with blackberry, the 'BlackBerry fever ' period. And I love how the product has grown and keeps advancing.. it's still the best ja re. I love my blackberry!

What is there not to like about blackberry?!!!!! Since the first time touched a blackberry phone, I have never used another phone. No need for so much talk but if you touched one, you will touch no other. If I am to,describe it like a human, I will say He's strong and muscular'. My blackberry fell from a 1 storey building and came out without a scratch and to think my birthday gift from my hubby was not a blackberry phone, swiddy I love u bt I love my blackberry too. Thank you blackberry, you guys rock!!!!!!!!!!!!
