End-of-year LIB Giveaway continues! Win 2 Blackberry Passports

I told y'all I will be giving away 10 Blackberry Passports courtesy Blackberry Nigeria. The phones are already in my possession...and they are worth about N150k each. I will be giving away 2 phones everyday from today Dec 15th to Friday Dec. 19th. But to win this is a little different from the random selection I do with the money giveaway. You have to work a little harder to win this...:-)

To win a phone, write a short note on what you like about Blackberry on the comment section. The guys at Blackberry Nigeria will review entries and send names of winners to me. If you win, you will meet me this weekend to collect your phone. If you don't live in Lagos, we will find a way to send the phone to you. Good luck guys...

Heres what I like about black berry
1.BlackBerry keyboards are pretty flexible and of great help for fast texting without errors. The keyboards feel way better than touch type. It’s like, you can carry grocery in one hand and text on the other!!
2. BlackBerry Messenger – Before WhatsApp, Viber, and all the other new messaging applications arrived the BlackBerry Messenger was king. Many of its features were copied by its competitors and it is still the most secured messaging app on the market.
3. There is no debating this one. BlackBerry makes the highest secured mobile phones in the world.

I can"t but write this note like a love letter to my dear blackberry phone. Since we have been together, you have been there through the thick and thin. You are my ever go to pally; going everywhere with me; connecting me with the world; giving me real time access to hearts, minds, stories and answers. You are so easy to carry around with no weight and so much inside. Where can I find such devotion that you shown all through the years with your durability and ability to recover even after a fall. My dear blackberry you rock and I really need to shout it to the world.

1. The best smartphone
keyboard in the business just
got better
One of the big drawcards of Blackberries is that they’re the
only smartphones without slide-out keyboards on which
you can type large amounts of text very quickly. No
arguments please. The Bold 9900 makes the QWERTY
keyboard even nicer by giving it more real estate than on
previous Berrys so much so that I found myself having to
adjust to the more spacious keypad when I picked up a
Bold at the launch.
iPhone and Android fans will say Blackberry users pay a
big price for their keyboards: relatively small screens. True
the Bold 9900’s 2.8in capacitative touch display is on the
space-challenged side when compared to the most popular
consumer phones but what critics don’t get is that
hardened Blackberry users think that’s a small price to pay
for the physical keyboard. Curiously the wider keyboard
helps make the Bold 9900 the tallest (115mm) and equal-
widest (66mm) Blackberry yet. Save for its thickness (see
point 6) it’s virtually identical in dimensions with the
second-last generation Bold 9000.

The Blackberry revolutionised the phone industry mostly in Nigeria with its inception it brought social networking closer to the people and there was better familiarisation between Nigerians and friends and family all over the world. I for one have used 5 Blackberry phones and i must confess My life changed the day i got my first 'pin' i started to interact better with people through BBM and other social networks.ThankYou Blackberry.

One thing I like about blackberry is the flexibility I enjoy when it comes to browsing. You don't have to start switching off your data network all in the name of trying to conserve data. I read sometimes that the same page you can open on another device for 250KB can also be opened on Blackberry for 50KB or less. This is because the data sent are first sent to the RIM server which compresses it before it is opened on your blackberry device, all within a twinkle of an eye. Black-berry has made internet connectivity easy for me a nigerian, 7-8 years back the only means of internet connection was a work to the cyber cafe ( barely a fantastic connectivity) which was a task on its own. My first black berry was the black berry bold 2, the intriguing aspect of it was the privacy it avails me, when ever I want to check my emails as one of its distinctive feature is the synchronisation of my mail box to my device.
With mobile technology improvements over the years BIS - Black berry Internet Subscription has become even more affordable. I got good project grades from the enormous materials I downloaded from google - made easy of course by my black berry device.
The revolutionary BBM social media introduced me to a whole new world of connecting with the world as I knew it, I have met and made new friends, just by using the BBM social app.
The IOT will certainly improve given the new dimension BlackBerry has taken, they keep rebranding and re-inventing their product.
I must add, the best Black berry secret is the Blackberryhelp handle on twitter... if you ever have a problem, contact them and they will get back to you with a probable DIY solution.
I love RIM, and I love black berry and I am definitely in love with the new black berry Passport. I hope I win. Thank you for the opportunity to share my Black Berry experience. Faithful user. Uzoamaka ( Slimamy99@yahoo.co.uk)

The BlackBerry has opened more doors of opportunities cos I can now chat with with my friends and family with ease without a care about data.

As an on-the-go-workaholic, i have always wanted a portable productivity device with a hardware keyboard (perfect companion, in my case). Not to mention its innovative designs which i quite is brilliant for reading- and responding to email, amazing for browsing websites and - yes - a pretty good experience when reading and editing spreadsheets. ofcos not to forget, the social aspect as well, all in on, definietly a plus for me. regards, nelo (scollyus@yahoo.com).

To be brief, why i like blackberry is because of its mail management. With blackberry i can always send and receive mails and attachments instantly. Other phones do but blackberry mails drop instantly be it office mail or personal. I had tested it with 2 different phones and the intervals at which the mails dropped was very far apart like 10/mins and in that case if the mail is urgent it wont be attended to. That alone has helped alot with my work if am not in the office. Also the bbm messenger has also helped to keep in touch with family and friends all around the world.

Unknown said...

3 reasons; the red light, the physical keypad and BBM. I have used Androids and Iphones but they don't compare to Blackberry. Blackberry is a phone that I can use for anything and everything. Instant sending of emails, instant reading of my emails, quick use of my memopad! And lastly, the BBM Channels of which I can't get enough of. Lol. That's why I love my Blackberry.

I like blackeberry simply because of its innovation and creativity of pinging which makes life easier and cheaper in any form of business. With a blackberry you can snap your products and send the pics to prospective buyers.
Blackberry always set the pace while others follow as a result of pings which wwas later copied by the likes of androind phone but yet they can not still meet up as most users complain a lot.
There is also this belive then that if youy do not have a BB then you never arrive which makes everyone to always hustle to get one. It was captivating innovation of a product which everyone desired to get.

Blackberry smart phones have always been reliable and dependable to users across the globe, even before the Craze for Android phones. It gives you the Blackberry messenger feature which enables easy chat with fellow users. Little wonder why Andoid secured the license to have the platform on Android phones across globe.

The best thing about blackberry phone is the bbm feature which other smart phones copied. Also the fact that with as little as 1000 naira one is able to get access to internet, thereby making it affordable to the masses(all income earners) unlike other smart phones.
God bless you guys and I hope am picked. audreypeters29

Below states my Key Points on Blackberry
1)Blackberry Can Be Used Anywhere – An unlocked BlackBerry can be used on almost any carrier around the world, so you are not limited to a few specific carriers.

2)Easy Charging – All new BlackBerry phones use a standardize Micro-USB connector for charging and synchronization.

3)International Roaming – Because BlackBerry supports international carriers, international roaming is not an issue. However, be careful with this as the roaming charges from your carrier might be a little outrageous.

4). Unlimited Wi-Fi Calling – If the BlackBerry runs on T-Mobile USA, it offers unlimited Wi-Fi calling from any corner of the world.

5). Expandable Memory – Fit in as many gigabytes as you want! With flexible memory card options, you don’t have to be limited to phone sets that have a set amount of internal memory.

6). Smooth Multitasking – Oh yes. You can browse and answer messages at the same time. Multi-tasking is smooth and flexible in the Blackberry.

7). BlackBerry Messenger – Before WhatsApp, Viber, and all the other new messaging applications arrived the BlackBerry Messenger was king. Many of its features were copied by its competitors and it is still the most secured messaging app on the market. Best of all, it’s FREE!!!

8). Peer to Peer Technology – Even the older BlackBerry devices allow seamless peer-to-peer communication!

9). Security – There is no debating this one. BlackBerry makes the highest secured mobile phones in the world. There is a reason why the White House uses them and does not allow the President to switch even though he insist on ditching his Blackberry.

10). Multiple Browsers – All browsers work flawlessly on the BlackBerry. It is not limited to a specific browser type.

I can go on and on,but i decided to give u just these key points.

Thank You.

I love blackberry phones and have been using only blackberry phones since 2011 especially the phones that have keypads. The physcial keypad is a deal-breaker for me, and I can never opt for less.
The email system lets me receive all my mails on the go as soon as they reach my inbox. and the indicator light is the best way to notify me of new messages especially when my phone needs to be on silent.
BlackBerry’s e-mail system, keyboard and indicator light all make the communication process a more efficient one for a young person like me.

I love the buttons, Sounds silly but its my favorite part of the blackberry phone. It has touch screen and buttons. i find it easier to chat with buttons so i can say that the blackberry phone has helped my social life and helped me keep in touch with friends all over the world. Blackberry cannot be replaced. It is the only phone that has stuck to the original format and given customers the option of touchscreen and buttons. Blackberry rocks.

My love for my Blackberry is timeless and priceless. The first thing I wake up to in the morning, the last thing I see at night. It keeps me informed, makes me in trend and leaves me entertained every second of each day. Some call it a business tool, others call it a mobile phone, I call it my trusted life& style partner. Today, tomorrow, always and for all time, its my life, my style, my blackberry.

The advantage of blackberry can never be over emphasised, the pings deliver faster. The data plan is cheaper and lasts longer compared to other androids. Getting accessories and spare parts is easy and of course you can never be stranded because you can get a charger almost everywhere. I always say something, if you go to a place and don't see a blackberry charger leave immediately. There's something weird about such place, I love blackberry and would love to use one again.

oh...ok! sounds easy, let me try. I have used a curve 3, a bold two and a bold 5. Then a samsung galaxy S4 but now am back to using a bold 5. Reasons being; blackberry subscription is cheaper for me(student). The name is sexy(try pronouncing it). I don't know if its just me but I browse faster with it compared to my samsung. Thats all I can remember for now. I'll add more later. dazzlingfredrick@gmail.com
