Photos: Nigerian Youth Corper constructs a drone

A youth corp member, Olaolu Ayoola, who is currently serving in Osun state has constructed a drone with features such as Surveillance camera, 20mins Fly Time and BB Monitor. Olaolu, a  graduate of Computer Science/Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Oyo state, had a test run of the drone on Monday December 15th during the closing ceremony of the orientation exercise for Batch C youth Corp members at the state's NYSC Orientation camp.

Olaolu flew the drone for about 10minutes. Another photo after the cut...



The Deputy Governor of Osun state and military officers who were present at the ceremony commended his efforts, describing it as a good invention.

Truth is that the transmitter and receiver were bought. You don't expect me to have done that...but I think encouragement will go a long way...if u need a pix of materials used, I'll send it to you...thanks for the encouragements.

This just use their dumb heads, He just purchased it online and display it, if by chance he constructed it, the materials wont look this good, as he can't afford a 3D Printer. Sha enjoy Bro. this way pays in this country.

I have gone through the site and read all blogs and this is a nice one:

The Drone school is really influential in drawing attention to the right sections of the public. The UAV does not require any pilot and this is one of the main advantages. The Drone flying lessons will be given to improve the quality of the pilots. The DJI Dropsafe is massively useful in this regard because the people will then realize the inherent value of it.

Can't stop wondering why some fools are dissing this guy... This guy is talented and he has taken a bold step to showcase his stuff. If you can do better, show it, don't criticize his effort.
