RCCG celebrates as one of their pastors is named APC presidential running mate
The Redeemed Christian Church of God took to its twitter handle moments
ago to celebrate the emergence of Prof Yemi Osibajo, an associate pastor
of the Church, as the presidential running mate of the APC.

As much as I believe Fashola would have made a better VP choice, Osibajo makes a lot of strategic sense. Now, the jonathanians can no longer play the religion card.

I'm sorry but I really don't dig this redeemed guy. We need someone with some experience in this thing called politics who can string Buhari along. Let's quit this religious game and find capable people. I am a christian so I hold nothing against the pastor but we need experience. I see him as a sheep trying to run with the pack of wolves that have been there forever and know every trick in the book. Unless there is something in the offing to support him, like the whole of RCCG backing him up seriously, I don't see this working. Looking at both of them discourages me already.

VP should not be a handbag if rightly empowered by the president. Idiagbon was definitely not a handbag because Buhari empowered him appropriately. On the other hand, both GEJ and Sam both are handbags so what do we do?

When Chris Okotie came out to be president a few years ago, these same people and other churches insulted the hell out of him, saying all sort of things like how pastors shouldn't be involved in politics now, their own person is coming out, they are all rejoicing. Smh
