Day 2 of Blackberry Passport Giveaway! Win two more phones

That yesterday's method of winning this Blackberry Passport phones will not work at all o..lol. Who's going to read all 6,000+ comments and pick two winners? Nah! We are changing the method of winning and I am the one picking the winners this time...in fact from now on...:-). (winners from day 1 will be picked from the first 200 comments).

So two people will win Blackberry Passport today but I don't want random selection with this. I want two LIB readers who really deserve it to win it. Plus you will be coming to see me to collect this phone, because I'd really like see some of my readers face to face and say thank you...:-)

So LIB readers, help me pick two names of LIB commenters you think deserve this phone. Minus the ones getting the 100k o. Let's spread the love....:-). And also suggest ways you think we should give it out for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. All the best

Linda, do justice to these names listed below.
Peoples comment/ nominees on these blog is becoming nuisance. I believe all the people deserve something, it's a research from me to you. And I will keep posting these everyday until you do something about it, the fact that you picked 3 people & leave others is unfair, some names on my list might not be consistent & some might be new commenter (joined middle of these year) but they are all addicted to your blog. These are the names left behind;
1. Alloy Chikezie
2. Bonita
3. Willieminna Moses
4. Cute G
5. Bishop DAMMY
6. Shina shine
7. Kween
8. Christie Benjamin
9. Queen maya
Some of them are old & consistent, some are old but not consistent while others are new & consistent. They deserve something better like onyx Godwin, Bonario & Ed Dreamz
I rest my case......

I also love the chatting aspect (BBM)Blackberry is just a mini laptop dat is portable nd u can carry frm one place to anoda. Blackberry fone is everybody's dream to have it. The name itself always make me hapi I hav never own one b4 Buh wen I saw d pic of blackberry passport all my thought was that one day I will surely get to use it. Among all fone to me blackberry fone is very unique among all oda fones.BlackBerry is going to be a phone that can never go off the market even though other phones are trying to keep up or push it away. it comes with this awesome and exquisite experience. it gives you the Classic feel unlike any other phone. Whatever brand Blackberry does people always want to have a feel of it because they know what they are going for. A phone that is impeccable and do not need numerous adverts to make sales. 1. I love the Blackberry because of the following features, 1. Light Indicate which most of the phones like the iPhone doesn’t have that tiny flashing light to indicate that you’ve got an unread message, text, e-mail, etc. 2. The Full Keyboard, the full keyboard safe my time when typing a message 3. The BBM, it let me know when my messages are delivered and whether read or not. Finally is the Subscription which is very cheap and easy to subscribe. tundeone@gmail.com

It's easy to be friends with a blackberry phone. My blackberry phone is my best friend, we fight sometimes but its still reliabe and compatible. It's easy to operate, no complications. Blackberry phones are durable, I 've been using the same blackberry for almost 2yrs . It is affordable, its a brand for everyone. Blackberry makes beautiful phones and their ability to satisfy customers in terms of size, price, design etc is admirable. Blackberry took communication to another level through BBM. I love the logo/trademark, it's unique n lovely. One of d best design I 've ever seen, I sometimes sketch it when am bored.lol. Harrietlewis534@yahoo.com

Sheybi I can vote for myself ba? I vote for my self o! Linda In giving out the remaining blackberry passport for Wednesday, thursday and Friday I suggest that we apply what we call lucky mathematics here(division)precisely. You should probably ask us questions and simply divide the total number of people that commented by two(2) and also divide the number you got by two to get the second winner. Eg: when is Linda ikeji's birthday? Time allowed(5mins)If 580 people comment within this 5mins period, simply divide by two and if you get 290(thats the first winner) then divide by two again and get 145(thats the second winner). Originality1010@yahoo.com

Well, I think luck should be ruled out of this and who ever wins should really deserve it. Hence, I suggest you pick out popular stories that you have published of recent and ask questions on them, this way only your regular and loyal fans/readers will win.

Blackberry, the data subscription is very cheap to afford unlike android. For instance, I pay only N1,000.00 for over 3G of data and I also connect up to eight other devices to my BB data through hotspot. It is BB for live; even BBM on android cannot match!

linda, i dont think this is fair. i am a loyal fan for years but have never comment until this month. it will be unfair to say we should pick 2 out everybody because everybody wants the phone for his or herself. this should be a competition not selection. yesterday was ok today should be better instead of this arrangee. Pick a topic lets discuss on it, with a minimum of 100 words and a maximum of 200 words. thats my suggestion. Thanks.

The unrivaled quality of a blackberry device cannot be overestimated. I love the way my bold 5 syncs all my social networks. My emails are also well synchronized and there's an easy accessibility. The flexible subscription plans from our mobile networks puts blackberry in a class of its own. The most amazing thing though is the network strength. The fastest way to reach the world is through a blackberry device. phourxydeed@yahoo.com

Blackberry has this unique style, they are all special and unique in different ways /forms .. Its more like the phone that keeps on giving. There is always so much more to look forward to when the next version comes into the market. When it finally arrives I'm never dissapointed and blackberry passport has been able to attest to that fact. The fact that you chat with thousands of people at the same time is amazing , picture quality is top notch and the style is always a knockout. I'm a believer and I always will.. Ever since I fell in love with the  Z10 in 2012 I don't think I've been the same again. I love the whole integration between the OS (being able to chat on bbm FROM the Pictures app is incredible, the Hub is irreplaceable! Since then I've convinced my family to switch to BB10 (2 Z30s, 1 Q10, and a Q5), I've opened a BlackBerry fan website (www.naijaberry10addicts.com), I've opened a Facebook fan page (facebook.com/naijaberry10addicts), I've even started developing apps for BlackBerry 10! (I have 3 apps currently available on BlackBerry World and 2 of them have built for BlackBerry certification) I'm typing this on my App for Linda Ikeji's blog (I also love LIB like crazy) currently available in the BlackBerry World. I think I'm in love with BlackBerry and I've started building my career around it. Winning this phone would mean the world to me.

I would start by saying blackberry is an intelligent phone that satisfies both my needs and my wants. In the past I have used various blackberries ranging from the Curve3,Bold2,Bold4,Torch(9860),Bold5(9900) and now the Q10 and I can boldly beat my hands on my chest and say Blackberries has never disappointed. Firstly with the Black berry Messenger Facility (BBM) that is simply incredible connecting me to my Family and Friends at any time of the day whether I am within Nigeria or outside. The browser allows me to download and upload PDF files in little or no time and also download Pictures, Videos and Music’s. My Blackberry also allows me transfer pictures and music from my device to another with ease using the Bluetooth facility. It’s amazing that even with the cheapest blackberry phone I can take photos, play music, record videos and also use the instant messaging, email messaging and web browsing functions. Blackberries are easy to use and understand, very durable, has a fast browser, quality camera, friendly, affordable the list goes on .Also every Blackberry device has a unique hexadecimal identification number (PIN) assigned to it that cannot be changed manually. Even when my phone is charging with the bb red light indicator I know I have either missed a call or received a message without even checking my phone. Even with the recent availability of BBM on other none blackberry phones the appearance of the BBM app on a blackberry is still top notch. I am a very deep sleeper but with the blackberry alarm clock I get out of bed everyday just in time for school. The Blackberry app world provides me with amazing and out of this world app. Blackberry is a wireless hand held device that has 768 MB system memory, and 8 GB of on-board storage and also has a compartment for an SD chip. Blackberry is one of the safest devices and will remain to me the Hottest Phones of all time!!. Did I mention it is also sleek .The Internet subscription is really affordable unlike android phones that leave scars on ones pockets as they are both expensive to purchase and equally expensive to maintain. Blackberry is also a very good phone for a person always on the move as you can easily connect to the Wi-Fi and still stay connected with friends and family. When i go to buy a phone I choose a phone that serves me best and is light on my pocket (affordable) that’s why I always choose BLACKBERRIES. I can easily say owning a blackberry is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. :D

Since Blackberrys move to OS 10 and BES 10 Enterprise service(fully compatible with Active Sync), I have been captivated with the OS10 phones as I work in an Enterprise environment, where MDM is key. Why do I want one ? Reviews on the phone are amazing, long battery life, fantastic outdoor visibility, delightful camera, robust build and all the sweet trappings of OS 10. Simply put an Enterprise users best buddy... Gimme one please.

Doctor Who (television’s great traveler through space and time) might be the ultimate backup sp...
BlackBerry claims the Passport's screen size will make it ideal for looking at everything from schematics to x-rays, word documents and spreadsheets. Of course it's also going to make the handset ideal for web-browsing

The Passport will run the BB 10.3 operating system. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor and 3GB of RAM, specifications which are comparable to phablets in Samsung's Galaxy Note range.

Internal memory is shaping up to be 32GB with space to expand this with a micro SD card slot (up to 64GB).

Battery life

The Passport packs a large 3450mAh battery life, and BlackBerry is touting a battery life of around 30 hours for power users that browse the web, take calls and access multimedia content using the device.

Whilst testing out a pre-production device, CrackBerry claimed the handset retained 15 per cent battery life after 16 hours of usage.

Early impressions

So far the blackberry passport has been the only publication to get extended time with the Passport. Although it looks like it could take users a while to get used to the unique design and keyboard, conclusions have been positive.

“It fits in dress shirt pockets and you can hold it with one hand. You just need two hands to use it. The battery lasts forever and the screen is a breath of fresh air for the 'cramped' Q10 users,” CrackBerry noted.

“The phone (if we can call it that) is meant for executives and serious businessmen who will now do more on their BlackBerry smartphones.”

With BlackBerry managing to retain customers in the enterprise market, the release of a truly big screen device is likely to be welcomed by those who still crave a physical keyboard.

Apps

Blackberry has confirmed that Passport and BlackBerry 10.3 users will have access to software offered by the Amazon App Store, to broaden the range of services at their fingertips.

The company claims this means users should have access to "hundreds of thousands" of additional apps, including consumer offerings such as Minecraft, Pinterest and Cut The Rope 2.

Meanwhile, they'll also be given the chance to download one free, and upload article in cloud

Dear Linda...I would suggest that you use this method in the coming days>>>
1. A creative selfie from users...posted on twitter with the hashtag #LINDAgiveaway, then comment on the blog with a link to the selfie.

2. Explain how blackberry brought them closer to lindaikeji's blog...in not more than 140 characters.

3. Let us know how they imagine that life would've been without blackberry...and mention the first type of blackberry they ever used...all in not more than 140 characters.

4. In not more than 140 characters, say why a blackberry passport is a need or a want, in their lives.

Those are all my suggestions...thank you.

My journey into the world of smartphones began with the blackberry bold 2, the blackberry touch 1 an. Then the blackberry curve 6!
Having used to blackberry brand for over five(5) years, I could say the reasons why I love blackberry are the same reasons that has made it one of the high end phones in the market. They are:-
The option of a phone with a combination of a keypad and touchscreen.
The affordable prices of data subscription.
it's software can withstand most virus attacks!
The cheaper prices of the phone especially when compared to top end rivals.
Spare parts are readily available weather in villages, towns or major cities and for very affordable prices.
The sleek and stylish design of the blackberry makes it stand out.
Experts for repairs can be found everywere.
The blackberry brand is a very durable brand.
Thank you.

We, all your readers deserve your goodwill but some should be of advantage over others. I want to suggest that same random method of selection is the best especially when you have a very large audience, come to think of it, a friend of mine in my school sold his belonging to enable him raise money to buy another phone so as to download LIB on it, he confessed to me that he can't do without reading LIB, so also many other fans out there that it's from LIB they get first hand info, I will strongly suggest to adopt that method so that the more lucky ones could benefit from your goodwill. Cheers Linda.

Blackberry phones has a unique security and encryption feature for emails and messages than other phones. Over the years i have enjoyed the special services provided by blackberry smartphones with a special server technology that sat between the phone and email systems to provide better performance. The touch-screen has blank areas between the rows of keys to make it easier to type and, it also can adjust where the keyboard appears to better match the position of your fingers. The balance feature lets a blackberry phone serve as both a work device and a personal one, allowing you to carry just one phone. The peek feature lets you look briefly at your messages and notifications without having to exit your application and open the hub.

The uniqueness of the blackberry messenger makes it stand out from other phones out there. Another good feature is the internet explorer. Whenever you open a webpage, you can still go back to it even after you must have left it to do other things, and still meet your page open, unlike other devices that will automatically close the page in view once you exit the screen. Also the ability to navigate from one application to another simultaneously is another outstanding feature I like about it. The overwhelming part was when I upgraded from a BB curve to BB bold, I was skeptical that my entire data would be gone because the phone could not pass booting stage and was told I would lose my data. But alas, my contacts and every other thing came back, why? Because I had blackberry backup plus protection.Cos of this alone, I backup my data once in a week. In all I respect the extraordinary nature of blackberry, even with the new phones in the market. None has been able to equal its uniqueness. Do I just like it? yes I do. Cheers

I am writing this not only because there is a price to be won but because I like discussing IT. I'm a tech Savvy

My candid opinion and experience

The moment I acquired my first blackberry several years back it made rubbish out of my highly placed symbian smart phone. BB is a smart phone that is so easy to use yet providing you with a variety of productivity tools. I have used most of the curve series over the years.
What I like most –
No other Mobile OS provides you with as much security as a blackberry. You don't need antivirus or some sort of security application. The encryption and decryption technology is compared to none. Data compression is also very great and very unique. One of the very interesting unique features I love so much was the robust customization of different alerts notification for different applications (you could set number of vibrations and alerts). I have not seen that on any other platform. There are so many other distinctive features, BBM, BB id, bb protect ,bb app world, bb email push technology etc.
As a tech savvy I have tested other platforms, I still maintained my bb as my main phone with my main phone line and major apps on it. My other phone was more or less a game console (lol) while bb remained my major phone and i have currently used the life out of it. Lol

I would be so excited to upgrade to the new bb passport so I can enjoy the new feeling and also let my android addict friends know what they are missing .
