Is it necessary?, Fela fought for what he knew was right, and does not need recognition from the USA.

The legend still lives, Ebami da, we love you!

D Abami eda himself, getting a well deserved recognition. Fela was simply the greatest musician of all time from Nigeria and indeed Africa. A genius bequeathed to Nigeria by the Almighty God himself. May his soul RIP in d bossom of our Lord Jesus Christ, amen.

Nice one, this is what Nigerian leaders should do instead of giving awards to money launders and greedy personality... Still loving you Abami Eda, May you rest in perfect peace in Jesus name!

Great legend!! wrote the world a long Autobiography Essay! and we love it! Left his footprints in the sand of time

Fela my man. Why won't them give him an award? He put his finger in their eye, imagine! He knows oyibo in and out. He actually discovered their ways. Remember, he changed his English name(s) to native(yoruba) . Soludo did too.
