The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, today received with shock, the ruling of Justice Rita Ofili- Ajumogobia of the Federal High Court Lagos, acquitting Mr. Femi Fani-kayode, a former minister of aviation, of the two count charge of money laundering preferred against him by the Commission. The Commission is making effort to obtain a Certified True Copy of the ruling, to enable it respond appropriately after careful review of the judgment.

EFCC should be scrapped sef. I have never ever seen them winning any court case. Whether the people are guilty or not, but they have no good lawyers or rather they can't afford to pay their lawyers well. That's why looters are not afraid when they are accused by EFCC. We have continually said that EFCC is waste of money for the Nigerian Country.. Cases such as this will always turn out this way because of clear substantial evidence. An association of illiterates, ofcourse can never produce verifiable evidence before the court.
I just hope Buhari's anti-corruption crusade is not dead-on-arrival.

EFCC reduced a 38 count charges to 2 and presented a week case. What baffles me is that despite glaring cases of corruption, it has not made tangible convictions. The judge cannot be blamed because he will rule only on the facts of the case presented to him by the,compromise EFCC. Let EFCC continue to flex muscles with yahoo boys. Barrister Festus Keyamo well done, continue your good work in EFCC.
