This building is ugly. Couldn't they Atleast design a modern edifice?

Anonymous said...

Fashola and Tinubu are idiots, they will send their agents to burn the markets and build ultra modern stores that the average market women can't afford. Greedy criminals. Enough of Tinubuism in Lagos. Power must change hands. #JK 4 Lagos, let the change start from Lagos.

I just want to know how much did this cost? The billions that Tinubu and Fashola have been stolen in Lagos state is mind boggling.

Now Mile 12 market mysteriously burnt again.
In my court, we handled the Yaba market issues. You need to hear the kind of money these people looted. Still told the people interested 2 pay money for the building project. Now they don't want to give the people the shops they paid for. They want to give them back their money after how many years. And sell it thrice the rate.

This government is foolish.
How come all these markets are burning?
Do they think they're dealing with scallywags?

We know their antics. 90 million building project. Steal 80million and throw those silly cocaine orgies tinubu likes to throw in London. I heard the guy doesn't do anything but anal sex...
Pigs!
You people that believe any politician in nig, una funny. Keep cheering thieves while you suffer. Keep fighting on blogs. You don't know the extent of their wealth.

This market was demolished in the early 90s,and was awarded to a company owned by Fani-Kayode's father,Chief Remi Fani-Kayode,who abandoned the market and absconded with the contract sum, till BRF took it upon itself to complete the abandoned project.
I speak from the position of authority, as my grand mum was the Iya Alaso(leader of fabric traders)in the market.
The wicked act of FFK's father led to the collapse of her multi million Naira trading business.

World class! Nice one Governor Fashola

Unknown said...

Beautiful. But my question is can those Vegetable sellers and Crafish sellers afford dis ? Or will it end like Yaba market dat has been ready for some time now yet traders cannot not afford to pay d huge sum of money involved. Yaba new market is still empty cos I saw it throughout d time I visted Unilag in first week of Feb 15. And I inquired from the people arround that d cost of d shops are high.So I need somebody an answer to dis ?

Look at APC governors in the south: Oshiomole, Amaechi, Okorocha, Fashola, Ajimobi, Amosun, Aregbesola, then compare with PDP looters except AKWA Ibom governor (we tell the truth)

#smh -I'm Ibo but will be voting for Buhari and can't wait to See how 2 (South East And South West) will be greater than 4. They just can't rig enough to win this time.

At least he built something... What about those who took all the state find and NEVER built a kiosk yet you can't ask or touch them. Moron

Unknown said...

Market where he will be collecting tax and eat it alone

Anonymous said...

First all this is no big deal! Has anyone been to JOS Terminus market built in the 80s I think? That market is way finer, more affordable than this one plus it accommodates both big and small business owners. Fashola's project is only for the rich

Unknown said...

D issue isn't commissioning d complex,d issue is will d shops in d complex be affordable for rentage?

Unknown said...

It's nice o. But can the traders really afford to pay the rent??? Let it not be like the Nigerian Army shopping complex at Oshodi and Tejuosho market complex that are still vacant due to the very high rent.

Anonymous said...

Fashola dont worry, your own dvd will soon be released. How far with your mansion that is being built at Ilabere in Ikoyi?

Anonymous said...

Please, what is ultra modern about a block of shops?
Internet? Touch-screen maps? Robotic parking?

I'm a Fashola supporter, but there is nothing ultra-modern about this!

Anonymous said...

Most people can't afford the shop tho.....We need accommodation affordable by the state government also. .. inside Lagos not ibafo n co

Unknown said...

Nice one, Fashola

Anonymous said...

You people that are praising Fashola are very little mind guys reason and think deep, you guys are praising him and forgot that the market is for the rich not for masses.Guys not be deceived

Baconyx Chris said...

Yes a nice work indeed. I always commend Gov. Fashola, but his godfather is not helping matters. Its one thing to build an ultra modern market, its another thing to make it assessable for traders. Not selling lots of stores to their political colleagues who in turn lease it at a high cost. please lets be wise. we need to speak up and let the government know that we are in a democracy and we can call them to order at any time. Not shouting for change, without changing themselves.

Anonymous said...

So true, the shops are not affordable even for the average class let alone the market women. Abeg, enough of Tinubu and Fashola. I think it is healthy politically and for the people to change the party that rules. Competition is safe and good. I think PDP should have Lagos now for a change while APC for the president too

I don't support Tinubu acquiring so much but it's better he acquires, use it to develop the land and creat jobs than most of these people( other party) doing yansh opening ,they have our treasury and used them for investments and development of foreign countries to the extent that we cannot even pin point their loots on the street of Nigeria.some them have refineries abroad, refine our crude and bring back to sell at a higher rate, most of them own houses in the best locations all over the world, creating jobs in other countries and not for Nigerians,Good or Bad oriental has created jobs but refineries in other countries eg South Africa will only creat jobs for South Africans. I'm not partisan but NIGERIANS be wise for once don't let anybody becloud and brain wash u. Judge by facts and be objective in your thinking. Don't let anybody brainwash you out of desperation when there's nothing to show in states won by them in the past because most of the money is used to settle God fathers and not actual development. Each time I visit Lagos ,rivers I'm always happy with development I see ,I wish I can say that for my oil rich state.

Fashola is stealing!

Anonymous said...

Real abacadabra!! These people lack conscience. Most of the shops on the ground floor at Tejuosho belong to the Iya oloja

Unknown said...

come on people lets stop praising the government for anything they do. if they have not use our taxes to execute the project, they must have borrowed money which they know they will surely make double from the masses. well as for me he no do anything wey dey special. and the building is so far from modern.
