According to her friends, Ruth had the attack while eating, causing her to choke and lose balance, leading to her falling and hitting her head on the ground. She bled.
The students around her said they called the university ambulance but there was no answer. They were left with no choice than to use a hairdresser's vehicle to lift the unconscious girl to the clinic.
"As usual, the incompetent nurses and staff of the clinic started to delay. Then the worst came - she passed on." her friend said. So sad! May her soul rest in peace..amen.

Seems more like an anaphylactic shock to me. Some of the respiratory symptoms are wheezing and shortness of breath. The food she was eating may have triggered anaphylaxis.

this is really sad, she was my ex room mate. so so sad, this isn't the whole story because bells lied to her dad that they were at ikeja hospital while she was already dead in the school's clinic. this is really sad. what really happened was that she was eating and then she got choked and then started convulsing. blood was coming out of her mouth and the students were really scared. if not for the salon stylist who carried her, she would have died in the hostel, the school is now trying to protect themselves and implicate the students. bells need to be thought a lesson. students lives are at stakes here because the clinic is not efficient. I pray for her parents. hope God gives them the strength to bear this.

Was there an autopsy that the cause of death? Based on the story, the girl died from lack of oxygen. She was choking on food and therefore, what she needed was for someone to do the heimlich maneuver to dislodge the food and free her airway so that she could breath.
Even though i never really got to know u as a person, it hurts more dan it ought to, to walk down the hostel corridor, look over your room and see an empty bed. *tears rolling down* u remain forever in the hearts of all 300level students and all of bells university students. R.I.P Ruth
