Absolut presents Open Canvas Lagos - a collaboration with artists to transform the streets of Lagos

Absolut Vodka has a history of collaborating with the world’s most exciting artists. Now they’re ready for their next partner: You. Absolut is bringing their Open Canvas campaign to Lagos. The brand, from the stable of Pernod Ricard, is set to turn the ordinary features of Lagos into an extraordinary master piece.

All collective artists involved will be expected to push theboundaries of creativity, by sharing their collective artistic marks on canvases at selected areas of Lagos while Lagosians interact and experience a free outdoor art exhibit...how great is that?

Absolut Open Canvas Lagos project formally kicks off on 18th of December and ends with the year.  This awesome exhibition will be anchored by celebrity advocates, who are respected in the Lagos Art community for their immense contribution to the city’s artscape; Dumebi Agbakoba - Fashion Designer & Magazine Editor, Chamberlain Ukenedo–Mixed Media Artist, Ibe Ananaba–Mixed Media Artist&DJ Sose - Musical DJ.

Absolut is giving all creative risk taking artists a chance to have their artwork displayed for all of Lagos to see. All you’ve got to do is submit some of your original art along with a short description of what you would do with your blank wall space in Lagos and you could be one of the featured artists who will be given free reign to create. Five artists whose paintings are judged outstanding will enjoy the benefits of an enhanced careersupported by Absolut.
