Buhari cannot be there because he is not in services yet.He only an aspriant who might not win at the end of the day.

Why is Jonathan involved in the meeting? INEC should be independent! This is never done in any part of the world. It gives the perception of bias. Other parties too should have been involved in the meeting too! This is the more reason we need change! This country. They have spoilt the whole system and sequence of things. Government does not function like this.

king Jaja said...

I thought INEC is independent? Why the reporting? INEC is suppose to address the entire Nation, especially the political parties, and maybe the house of assembly. Independent should mean independent of intimidation like this one call meeting

@Sarah Sanni
Buhari cannot be at the meeting between the President, Service & Security Chiefs with INEC boss.

He can only be there if other former Heads of States or other Party Flag bearers were invited.

Hope you see my point, Sarah.

I HOPE JEGA WONT COME OUT OF THIS MEETING AND SAY HE WANTS TO RESIGN?????????

linda, even though u are an APCriminals agent, i think it's my civil right to express my opinions about situations in the country. U may not agree with them, fine, but ur platform shouldn't be prejudice. U don't have to post only the comments that satisfy u and ur party and decline reasonable ones cos they criticize them. u never post my comments that criticize APCriminals, just like u won't post this, but i'm certain u'll read it.. i've posted a comment previously on this exact article and u've refused to publish my comment.. smh at u..

How dull you are. Tribalistic fagot thats what u truel are. So cos yorubs are not there that's why u will not vote for him abi? How many igbos are there? I hv read comments but no igbo person has has complained the way u have. I don know what is wrong with the westerners they feel they own Nigera. My dear ask youself when your brother's were on seat, what did they do for you? Its high time people start thinking about nigeria and her citizens and not tribe differences. God help Nigeria.

Gej for continuity..

Anonymous said...

@Ogaba, valid point. In our very partisan and non-independent clime however, I think this sort of meeting should indeed have all other party flag bearers in attendance. Everyone at that meeting apart from possibly Jega, is a PDP person. Including the so-called service chiefs. This is the problem with our brand of Democracy. INEC should not have any reason to report to a President who has vested interest in the outcome of their work. I make small sense?

Holuphorlahan said...

I suspect another postponement of this election..and na only shout we go shout..

I weep for my nation. Especially my people from d east. U guys are just zombies following d corpse. U all are blinded with d so called tribal and ethnic differences that u all can't see dat Gej is not d answer or solution to our prob. I pity u all. Does poverty,lack of power etc know a particular tribe or ethnic group. Think for d sake of our growing children and d ones yet to be born. A word is sufficient for d wise.
