Nigerians come for PDP chairman Adama Muazu on twitter...

PDP Chairman, Adamu Muazu this afternoon posted this munched BBC tweet about Niger republic citizens marching in solidarity with their military and said that was what patriotism was about and not Nigerians who constantly insult security agencies and government. You know how our people are... they came for him. See the tweets after the cut...

I'm all for patriotism and loyalty sir.

Their government have them properly equipped with their little resources.we keep allocating billions to the military yet our Nigerian soldiers carry toy guns in comparison to the machine guns carried by Niger soldiers and the insurgents.

The Niger people trust their army to defend them.ours are demoralized and Ill equipped. If they try to speak, they are court martialed and sentenced to death. If they die in the line of fire, the ogas seat on the welfares meant for their families.

Sir,I will march with our soldiers when I see you, your kids and your grandchildren in the lineup too.Not tucked away in secure mansions or abroad.

Sir,people are hungry and tired of these games.I don't care which party wins,I just want a leader that is credible and has a conscience.

Thank you sir.

Really?? They are seeing results!! This war started in Nigeria since 2009, we're now in 2015, and pple are still dying. We are not blaming the soldiers at the fore front who are dying in their thousands(u don't hear that in the news anyway), we're blaming the FG & the Generals at the top for gross corruption & under-equipping our armed forces! I am in Maiduguri since the war started, if only I have time to type.....

Dear Linda,
I don't expect less from a man whose case file was closed and dropped by Efcc simply because our incompetent president wants to make him pdp chairman.
He is a member of the OLD OLDER.
Tell him to go and remind president Jonathan of how many times Obama and bush visited Iraq to encourage and support American soldiers on foreign soil, yet his president can't go to borno state to support our soldiers.

May be it is because in Niger, stealing is corruption and their President gives a damn (double apologies to my guy, Clueless!)

How can we come out of our houses and march for what we do not know, who we do not know. I will come out and even lay down my life when I see the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces leading the troop!

I spoke to a soilder who is on the war front and I can tell you it is not easy. I always ask myself how did this pple become so large and problematic that it is taking 3-4countries to control. Mauzu ur pdp led government has allowed our military look like man o war b4 boko haram. While we were shouting about insurgency and the kidnapped girls. Your were busy crying on tv and chilling . now you want to March right for something you would have avoided.

When you and your clueless president were busy dancing azonto while people are being killed on daily basis all we hear is I condemn, I condemn and I condemn, no action and you want Nigerians to match against what you have failed to do. Put all your children, grand-children forward and we follow. bull shit.

Are u alright anon 5:56? You just buttressed my points further! After ALL you listed then what is the C-in-C doing about it??????????????? Blaming everybody else!! This is the first time Nigerian army are called cowards. Under GEJ's watch! I grew up knowing & hearing that our army among the best in the world! 2day under GEJ the Defence minister of -OMG!- Niger Republic is calling our army cowards!! And like I said u are "hearing" things while I am in Maiduguri since the war started, u are in no position to argue with me

shola shawn said...

Nigerians dont Believe in solidarity marches anymore becos Govt has shown them that Govt always has the final say no matter what. Take the fuel subsidy saga as a chase study. Govt eventually removed subsidy whether as planned or not. Thus, the culture of solidarity marches has been dented . Why then should Govt expect Nigerians to march out in solidarity support against anything? Our Govt has demoralised us beyond repairs. We don't trust Government enough to support its movement!
The "Nobody cares" attitude is what we are left with.

#smh - like seriously? Blaming Nigerians? And he wants us to vote for his party??? Summarises people around Jonathan. Prof Soyinka said it all in an interview with BBC. Both candidates aren't the best so voters are struggling to choose. However, let's choose the lesser evil; now he isn't an evil compared to the 'plunderers' in PDP. Have you noticed Buhari never insults Goodluck? Have u noticed a president insulting Buhari on the campaign trail? Vote for Change!
