One of them who sustained serious burns was taken to Kenyatta National Hospital while the other seven were admitted to Tigoni Hospital in Limuru.
Kiambu County Police Commander, James Mugera said the fire started at about 1 am on Monday while most of the students were sleeping. He said investigation into the incident have been launched in order to know the cause of the fire. However, according to latest reports,10 other students has been detained on suspicion of arson.

Boarding school life...God! I actually went to a boarding school, I can imagine wat their parents will go through when they call to inform them about the terrible news...heartbreaking. May almighty Allah grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
