Haba! Ndi Igbo but why? And here I was thinking the Igbos will lead a mass protest against the oba for what he said. This is not a time to pledge support, We all know APC has a higher chance of winning Lagos than PDP, because of the good works baba Fashola has done and because of Gen Buhari's presidential victory, and am sure the Igbo are in no doubt in supoort of APC, but making such statement is what's unacceptable, now everyone will think it's OK to throw shade at the Igbo, forgetting that the almighty Lagos won't be what it is without the Igbo people, wonder what will be left of Lagos if the Igbos decide to take away all the investments they have it Lagos (if it were possible) including landed properties, I guess not much will be left of Lagos. My dear ndi Igbo the oba should be made apologise for what he said and denounce it, even though we know nothing will happen to us, I think that will teach everyone a lesson andand will be a more honourable thing to do than pledging support now.

#Something to ponder on....

Dear Lagosian,

Yorubas are very decent and reasonable people. No tribe will entertain on their land what is going on in Lagos.

We all condemn in totality the statement of OBA AKIOLU!!!

But lets ask ourselves one important question, WHY IS OBA AKIOLU SO ANGRY WITH IGBOS?

My answers are:

1. "I WILL ELEVATE EZE NDIGBO TO THE STATUS OF OBA OF LAGOS" -
JIMI AGBAJE.

2. IGBO WILL DETERMINE WHO RULES LAGOS- IFEANYI UBAH

3. LAGOS IS NO MAN'S LAND.- IFEANYI UBAH DURING TAN CAMPAIGN.

4. IGBO DEVELOPED AND CONTROLS LAGOS- JIMI AGBAJE DURING GEJ CAMPAIGN IN AKWA IBOM

5. WE MUST PRODUCE THE NEXT DEPUTY GOVERNOR OF LAGOS- EZE NDIGBO

MY QUESTIONS TO IGBOS,

1. CAN OBI OF ONITHSA ACCEPT ALL THE ABOVE MENTIONED?

2. CAN EMIR OF KANO ACCEPT ....?

3. DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER SINGLE TRIBE IN YOUR CABINET IN THE EAST?

4. CAN ANY TRIBE CLAIM ONITHSA OR ABA TO BE NO MAN'S LAND?

5. CAN OBI OF ONITHSA ACCEPT THE ELEVATION OF SARKIN HAUSA IN ONITHSA TO OBI STATUS?

My conclusion:

We have been living together as brothers for years in peace.

You must respect our tradition and institutions. Ifeanyi Ubah should stop jumping around Lagos beating drums of war!

GOD BLESS YORUBAS , IGBOS, HAUSA'S & THE MANY OTHER TRIBES

GOD BLESS NIGERIA!!!!🙏

TruthBeTold -

Battle For Lagos

Onyebuchi Ememanka writes ~

What is the principal interest of the Igbos in Lagos? What do we seek to achieve in our sojourn here?

My take is simple. We seek a prosperous Lagos that is economically viable, peaceful....a mini Nigeria of sorts where all people are able to live and pursue their livelihood without let or hinderance.

As a people that thrive on commerce, Igbos want a Lagos where there are government policies that promote the growth of commerce and business.
A Lagos where government builds roads, bridges, hospitals and is generally alive to their duties.
Education is free in Lagos and our children enjoy this.
No Igbo child has been sent away from any public school in Lagos. Lagos state government pays WAEC and NECO fees for all students in Lagos....our children enjoy this too.

What do we really want in Lagos? The truth is that we are strangers here. Lagos belongs to some people, just like Onitsha and Aba. Let's not carry on as if this place is a no man's land. It is not!

All of a sudden, Jimi Agbaje has become an Igboman....we have adopted him as our son.....the same way we adopted
President Jonathan in the last election against our strategic interest as a people...a decision that has left us in serious political confusion and our senators begging to be admitted into the APC.

What is the difference between Jimi Agbaje and Akinwumi Ambode? Is any of them Igbo? What is our problem? I believe that we have a fair share here. We live in peace unlike our people in the North. I don't think there are more Igbos in Lagos than there are in Kano, yet we live peacefully here.

Yorubas are highly politically sophisticated people and they understand that it is better for them to have a government in Lagos that belongs to the same party as the party at the centre. Igbos cannot love Lagos more than Yorubas. This is their land. If anything happens here now, we will all leave and return home.

These people own here...this is their home and we must respect their feelings. Every person living in Lagos wants more federal presence in Lagos. We want a 4th mainland bridge, we want so many other things that the federal government can do.

In the years past, Lagos hasn't enjoyed much federal intervention because of political party differences. Now they have that chance and we want to spoil it for them by being more catholic than the pope.

Let everybody vote any candidate he wants but I reject any collective Igbo move to vote against the strategic interests of the people who own the land where we live and make our living. Lagos has been good to our people. We have succeeded here in business and the professions.

Let's not disrespect the people

And you this jk ( who can't run a successful family or take care of his inheritance given to hin by his rich father), or is it bode George the ex convict, or Fani kayode the ex drug addict, Andy Uba with his pending Efcc case? I will rather vote a theif that will perform and not a noise maker who will only tell you what he want you to hear.
You keep saying Tinubu is a thief are toh all so dumb? A thief yet after leaving office over 8 years still hasn't been caught. Pdp released a documentary to tarnish his imagine and yet the fools fell for it.

Jk has been running a pharmacy for over 30 years with no expansion and development, don't you think this same man will come and definitely chop Lagos money finish with his people and not do 1 single thing. Charity dey say begins at home.
If you can't take care of hone you can't impress the streets.
This same Tinubu has made Lagos what it is today that is why we all can live in it. 1 mistake and Lagos is finished back to 16 years back.

Lagos has always been the model of the one Nigeria we want. Many tribes from all over Nigeria have lived peaceably in Lagos for years. Now they want to sow discord among us because of politics. My people, wake up!

The Akiolu spoke from his tribalistic sentiments. He is not a representative of the APC. As for me, I am voting Ambode come Saturday. I am voting for continuity and change. My 2 kobo

Anonymous said...

with this kind of follow-follow attitude, igbos can never grow a respectable nation. the igbos will remain to sell their rights and heritage like esau just for kobo and shillings.

Anonymous said...

You're OYO besides who knows you....a nonentity like you. You better don't waste ur vote cos u'll bite ur fingers after Saturday if u dont vote Ambode.

I am shocked at these pictures...real or imagined. No wonder we have not been able to produce the president. Since we cannot stand as one indivisible group. So that in the next elections..we will be well consulted before any candidate emerges from any party. Maribe Toby
