We should not be a aCountry in the news for all forms of Corruption.
I think if we as a Country put in place the necessary infrastructure for any one to thrive in - roads, communication, water electricity, affordable housing for the poor,
schools and Universities with qualified good teachers and security and courts that are serious about persecution when you do wrong -
president or the common man on the street, the World will respect us and will not care if public servants enrich themselves with public funds; but even this has to be curbed.

The people that champion this biafra nonsense portray Igbos in very bad light. They portray Igbos as unthinking emotional children. The problem Ibos have in NIgeria is their bad politics. Igbos need Nigeria more than Nigeria needs Ibos. Biafra is not and can never be the answer, even if it is ever achieved . This analysis is good only to the extent that it can be used as an hypothesis.

@gentle if ur honest wt urself u will say dt igbos are d ones dt ALWAYS abuse yorubas. I can provide links to all d nairaland pages, biafra pages & online websites where d dissing has bn going on for YEARS while yorubas were busy opening teeth wt igbos, attending church wt them, smiling wt them. Show me ANY yoruba oodua website abusing other tribes in this country.
The yoruba dissing igbos thing only started during dis presidential elections. And d online disses started during d oba of lagos brouhaha. We dont live in hate. Neither do we come to ur land & tell u d history of how ur forefathers got to onitsha. Its an almighty insult.
Looking at history, everyone knows the Igbos have not got the fair share of Nigeria. I believe the way to settle this imbalance is not by this seccesionist ideology. If God had sanctioned it to work, it would have worked out with Ojukwu, but as this was not the case, the Igbo region need to find a way to position itself gainfully in the Nigerian political game in order to achieve strong political relevance.
Ojukwu (a charismatic military crusader) tried to accomplish this by force, but it didn't work. The next 'Ojukwu' the Igbo nation needs is a charismatic political crusader, and I believe the quest of the Igbo region lies in a political solution, not a military one. This is my opinion.
