Only three ministerial nominees have been slated for screening today. They are Barr. Adebayo Shittu, Khadijat Abah-Ibrahim and Claudius Omoyele Daramola. Rotimi Amaechi's name was excluded. No reason has been given for this new development.

If the Buhari led government is sincere in its fight against corruption, someone like Amaechi who stole billions of Rivers money should not be given any public office again, but I am not surprised that Buhari is so determined to make him a minister because he(Buhari) is a major beneficiary of the stolen billions during the presidential campaign. In as much as I support the anti-corruption war, I want to state clearly that Nigeria under Buhari will not have a corrupt free society because his approach to fighting corruption is corrupt. Buhari is even tha most corrupt man in disguise as a saint to the blind ones.

The political kindergarten PMB is playing with politicians. The survival of the Senate President in his sit is in the hands of the PDP. An attempt to play smart,he has himself to blame.
Na for him big head!!! If ex-governor Akpabio was or is still been questioned by EFCC, then why has Amaechi not been invited by EFCC? Who is more corrupt among them? Witch-hunting won't get us to anywhere. After all Akpabio has a lot of projects and programs he executed while in office compared to Amaechi.
I like Amaechi and I am hopeful that he passes senate screening. But I honestly don't think that he is bright enough to head any important ministry. As a way of compensating Amaechi for his hard work and resilience during the last election, Buhari should just create a new insignificant ministry for Amaechi so that he doesn't feel humilited
