Idris Elba has the honor of being the first man ever on the cover of Maxim. The mag, which is famous for portraying half nude women on the cover, has decided to do something different by featuring a man and they picked Idris!!
According to editor-in-chief Kate Lanphear, Elba was an obvious choice,, she said:
“There was no one else in the world more badass than Idris. For me, he was really the perfect embodiment of what I think the new Maxim man is. He’s multi-dimensional, he’s complex, he’s sophisticated, but he’s down to earth.”
The actor is featured on the mag’s September issue.
