With the way the president keeps sacking and appointing people into public offices,I daresay that he's been in a deep slumber all this years. If he'd sacked and appointed people with this frequency right from the beginning, who knows some LIBers may have been lucky to have their share too.lol

Congrats To Them!

GEJ is showing his true "HERO" colours; Vindictive.
All those who have worked with this woman know she doesnt do deals. Its just that she might finally want to return to Lagos to be with her husband after long years flying back and forth Abuja or else GMB wld give her job sharp sharp as she is the type he wants to work with.

You cannot not find in any probe report, whether National Assembly or PWC, that PEF was found wanting. The woman is straigthforward and strict. Even Marketers will tell you that she no collect egunje from them

You can see its a product of serious lobbying. Hes giving everyone in his cabinet non political jobs so theyre not jobless after may 29. And those dt were promisedvstuff are being slotted into positions. So SHAMEFUL & worse d media is not calling him out.

Blatant disrespect to nigerians. I guess its a fitting ending & summary to his presidency.

Mrs Sharon Adefunke Kasali is a chartered accountant of international repute. In 1986, she completed a Bachelor degree in Business Administration in Accounting from Texas Southern University and obtained a Master of Business Administration in Finance and MIS from the University of Houston, Graduate School of Business in 1991. She was certified as a public accountant the same year.
She started her work career in the United States of America working with many organizations, including the State of California, Board of Equalisation as well as the globally renowned accounting firm, Arthur Andersen & Co. She later joined Exxon Mobil in the United States from where she was transferred to Mobil Africa. She worked in Nigeria, France and Kenya and rose to the position of East Africa Regional Director of Finance, Exxon Mobil Africa. At the Zenith of her work, there, she had seven Finance Directors reporting to her.
She left Exxon Mobil in 2004 and joined the Nigeria-Sao Tome & Principe, Joint Development Authority as Deputy Director, Audit. It was from this position she was appointed to the position of Executive Secretary, Petroleum Equalisation Fund (Management) Board in April 2007. She was inducted into the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria as an Associate of the Institute in May, 2011.

She is an initiator of many reforms in PEFBM that brought the organization to lamplight and recon of good work as against fraud base organization it was know for prior her appointment to head the organization.

First she introduced biometric attendance system, the first of its kind in govt parastatals in Nigeria. This help instill discipline into staff and attendance and punctuality return to normalcy in the organization.

To check the prevalent fraud in the equalisation fund, she also introduced electronic payment, again the first organization to practice that in Nigeria parastatals. This attracted the attention of late president Ya'adua and he ordered all govt organizations to adopt electronic payment system. She got many awards in for this laudable moves including CBN recognition to the extent of the later going to understudy PEFMB for electronic payment system. This system cub the fraud that was prevalent in the organization which result into cutting short the Marketers payments through fraudulent means. They no longer get the bridging and NTA allowances via cheques from staff but direct payment to their accounts.

She then began a process of electronic loading and receiving of petroleum product to help track genuine transaction and Knock off fake claims, it also helps quick payment of claims of marketers while taking out files and paper works in the claim process. The project popularly know as AQUILA has the potential of becoming the major database of petroleum data in Nigeria. This is one of the best thing that has happened to the petroleum industry in Nigeria and all stakeholders in the industry cannot stop singing the praise of ASK for this laudable initiative. With this project, the number of trucks doing petroleum business in Nigeria could be known at a glance as all truck are now electronically tagged; just as the daily product loading and consumption could easily be known today through the project.

She recently succeeded in getting PEFMB move into its own property office since 1973 of its establishment.

Mrs. Adefunke Sharon Kasali is no doubt one of the best brains and well experienced hands in the petroleum industry with zero tolerance for corruption.
