Is there anything wrong with this photo?

Nigerians are going after presidential candidate for KOWA party, Prof. Remi Sonaiya for her posture while handing over a book to president Jonathan at the 2015 NEDG presidential debate. They feel that for a candidate aiming to take a job away from the president, the way she bent in respect or whatever courtesy she felt she was extending is wrong. Do you see anything wrong with this picture?

#smh - This woman supported him all the way during the presidential debate. Glad GMB didn't go because it was mockery of a presidential debate.

#MamaWar said that if you are in Labour go and vote first before you go to the hospital; tells you how much HATRED this woman has for other Nigerian women and children (even those yet unborn).

#Message from the Pope: Accompany the victims! Come to the aid of the poor! Teach the youth! Become promoters of a more just and fraternal society!

Some people are either just dumb or very jobless...

Is GEJ not the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria? So because people have gotten used to ridiculing ands using him, they no longer know what is proper and what is not?

Whatever your personal feelings about the man,he deserves respect as the president of this country...

This rubbish wey u a de do, u no fit try's, with Buhari oh...common campaign abuse, e don de go court and you think y'all will be able to go on yapping as you are doing now with Jonathan...I laugh in Spanish cos u no sabi anything....

Dear fellow libers, please give respect to who it is due. Good luck Jonathan as at today till 29th May 2015 is our president and commander in chief. Wether he has governed Nigeria to date in a slap shod manner is not an issue right now. Would any of you as well brought up Nigerians even stand to give something to someone in authority or older than you? I was brought up properly, I would even have curtsied further down than she did.
We seem to have taken Liberty for license and I shake my head at anyone who says you should not humble yourself where it is needed. That in turn shows you to have been well brought up. The lady has a doctorate but she has shown by this gesture that she is humble, well brought up and respects those in authority. Well done Ma.

Hate for the Ijaw man obviously! When Fayose insults his buhari, he doesn't respect for his elder and when a Nigeria shows respect to a seating President they all go daft, blind and forgetting GEJ occupies the #1 seat of the country...smh. There's nothing absolutely wrong with the pix Linda! He's still the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for crying out loud mbok.

You are the bush man! The president doesn't have to stand for no one! And she bowed in respect of his office!!!! He is the president for God's sake

She knows she can't win. Any party asides APC or PDP are just deceiving themselves, they don't av d popularity. To this end, she has to position herself for political appointment.

@adaora ibezim, he's the president not acting.

The only wrong thing in that picture is the man sitting down to recieve something from a woman. True to his bush man behaviour he has put the woman in that position where she had to bend. Bushman

Those who do not respect their leaders or those in authority can never get there. Jonathan is still the president of the Federal republic of Nigeria whether we like it or not. She did the right . she is not just respecting Jonathan but also respecting the office. God bless you ma. Just as you have shown respect I believe you will one day be called to serve Nigerians in that capacity.

This is d very reason Buhari won't be there. It's nothing but a well planned pitfall against APC candidate

Remember we are talking about the president of Nigeria. Linda even your Mum will do the same thing.

'or what ever courtesy she felt she was extending '? He is the President of this nation and must be given due respect from all. Humility is honourable

Nothing is wrong with this. He is still the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Yea, I see something wrong in d px, D COLOUR of her HAND.....different. lol

Anonymous said...

The picture has be tampered one hand is light-skinned and the other is black...infact i think it was actually a man picture and the lady's face and body was photo shopped in..

Everyone including her good self already knows the drill...that there isn't the faintest chance of her becoming President of this Federal Republic of Nigeria. So while enjoying her fleeting moment in the sun it sure don't hurt to be nice to the incumbent. Who knows, should he get re-elected there just might be a reward for all who agreed to join him in giving that charade of a debate some semblance of credibility.

Guess linda with her 'kind of mind' wanted us to note her seemingly double-skin color (wiv her arm). #JustMyObservation

He is still the commander in chief of this country. So even if your an opponent you must respect him or face the full extent of the law.

They are contemporaries at this point and peer group. This servant/master pose is the reason she still needs time to develop before coming into any position. I must not bow to show you respect

All gentlemen are supposed to stand and raise their hat for a woman.
Its also 'bush', wearing a hat indoors.
If Mrs Sonaiya is 'showing respect as Yoruba', Fayose must be a foreigner being so rude and uncouth to Obj and Buhari who are old enough to be his great uncles of dads.
