I totally agree with Wale Gates. I was going to comment on the other side if the coin when I first read this news. When you treat people like they don't exist, they will retaliate like they exist and the end result of a scorned, humilated, deprived person os usually disastrous. Maids are relegated to the background like they are a piece of furniture, nobody cares how they feel or what their needs are. They are seen as lesser being who can't have a say in anything including their own lives. When you treat someone better, they will give u their best.

Thank God I haven't employed any maid in 5 years. It's difficult but I thank God. One maid I had many years ago refused to go when I asked her to and dared me to throw her out of my house lol. One gave my kids cold food without meat or fish... She ate theirs and hers... One always loved to open the door for my husband when he came back from work and i was ignorant the first 2 days she did it until the 3rd day when my hubby drew my attention to the fact that she always opens the door, draws her skirt up so that oga can see her market as she climbs the stairs while oga follows behind and she never wore panties while on that mission and this girl had the biggest behind in the whole world... She left my house very early the next day. Another one will drink the kids Bournvita and give my kids water mixed with sugar as tea, the last one boiled hot water and poured it on my son and when I got back she pretended it was an accident, I accidentally boiled hot water too and poured it all over her body.... and sent her off. She went to the police and when police saw my son they arrested her and the story was forgotten. Ladies, please if you can, make sure you never leave your child with a stranger. They all have one evil or the other in them. RIP to the baby that died and may we bring evil into our homes in Jesus name. Amen.

This is like my first time of commenting on any post. Am soo pissed off wit Wale Gate or water. U r an idiot to even comment on this blog. So because dy didn't allow her to go gives her d right to murder abi! Am sure dis will definitely happen to u or ur family cos u wish for it. Wale gates made a point tho but if she felt she was been maltreated/cheated of her rights and if she was unhappy she should av left d job. She killed an innocent girl. She won't go 2 her village for life!
