The Homevida Jury Decides!

This year's competition was intense with a lot of creative and interesting scripts in each category. After much deliberation on the 113 submitted scripts by the 9-team Homevida jury (click to the jury list here if you missed it), we finally got our winners!


1) Rights, Freedom, Safety and Security Category
 Tomi Adesina for the script 'Feisty John'
Tomi Adesina is a screenwriter and fiction series blogger. Tomi wrote the popular blog series “Dear Future Husband” and other hit blog series including “Beautiful Stranger”, “Clandestine”, “Two weeks to go” and a lot more which could be found on her blog. She won the award for the best writing blog of the Nigerian Blog Awards in 2013. Tomi, who is also a screenwriter has TV projects to her credit including Ebony Life TV's DEADLINE (an investigative drama series), BROADWAY (the revitalized edition of the Ghanaian family drama) and BEDLAM (a Nollywood Movie). Tomi is also a script consultant on various projects.

2) Economic and Social Impact
Uzo Stephanie Ifeoma for the script 'Believe'

Uzo Stephanie Ifeoma is a 400 level Law Student at the prestigious University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus. She is 21 years old and the fifth out of seven children. She has the potentiality of being an inspirational speaker and believes in the power of prayer.

3) Reputation Management
Musa Jefferey David for the script 'Life in a Day'
Musa Jeffery David is a 25 year old writer, film maker and entrepreneur from Edo State. He has written scripts for Film, Radio and Stage. A graduate of Biochemistry, from Ambrose Alli University. Musa is passionate about scriptwriting and he is influenced by the various works of Woody Allen,Quentin Tarantino and more recently Christopher Nolan.
