Oh my! Huge Python killed at Opebi, Ikeja (photos)

How can a snake this huge be seen around Opebi, Ikeja when it's not Ikorodu or Badagry? That's scary! The Python was killed by two men in a bush around the area today...and when they brought it out, people gathered to take a look. More photos after the cut (and my apologies to those who will find this disturbing)

Its offensive to say animals like this are only found in Ikorodu or badagry. Do you infer that residents of the area simply live in the jungle or weird areas? I beg you decipher the proper word to use in depicting things in your stories. Thanks.

(For those who feel I reside in Ikorodu, dont waste your strength typing, you are making a mistake)

They just killed a harmless creature! We have displaced them and now killing them. Nigerians don't understand how to conserve these animals to protect our environment.

Opebi was a jungle. We used to call that area Opebi jungle in the 80s. Those days you'll find all kinds of animals in Opebi. This is not a surprise

Anonymous said...

I'm sure you aren't literate. Your comment tells me so

Anonymous said...

Lol. Harmless abi? Mumu.

Anonymous said...

Exactly.....it's not the first time a snake this large is caught from there

Anonymous said...

D fact dat u mentioned badagry and ikorodu is annoying Nd insulting. D snake is huge tho

kunmii said...

Linda haba now, tho I don't live in ikd or badagry, its absolutely insensitive, puerile and infantile for u to make such reference and annotation to that region, its highly insulting, discourteous and ill-mannered especially coming from a revered person like u! You're being derisive, because u stay in V.I or Lekki doesn't mean u should scorn and make a mockery of the region and its residents.Really dissapointed
