Saddest news so far. Grew up with them in military hospital .last saw Irawo in 2006 when I was in naija after imole died. He told me what happened n before I left he asked me what I had brought back from the uk for him and I said too late my stuffs have been raided by family n friends on the same day I came . He then said give me yours trainers "bearing in mind am 6ft2 and a size 11 whilst Irawo is 5ft5 and probably a size 5"I laughed and the put my foot next to his and said this would never size you. He then said give me ur belt. Again I said this is my only belt and if I give it to you , you would sell it cos it's not your size. He laughed and said I wouldn't sell it but I wld keep it so that you would always be in my memory . That was the last time I spoke to him or saw him. Really gutted should av given it to him.

I was robbed twice and these guys were on Okada ( bike). Third mainland bridge and Adekunle. I was shaking, pointed a gun at my head. Everyone in the traffic looked the other way, they broke my glass when I refused to roll down. I was so happy when I heard okada's were banned. Why do we still have them on our roads, I get so scared in traffic. God rest his soul. Sad. Sad. Sad.

I just cannot believe this. This is a family I used as a point of contact a few years back. The dad is a doctor, I think momsie is as well and then all 3 siblings studied medicine and became doctors. RIP young doctor. Its all God who keeps us everyday in this Lagos. Have been attacked on road CMS early in the morning while driving alone to work. I refused to give the guy my phones like he demanded and he was threatening to shoot me if I dont give him. When I kept saying I had no phones on me he just walked away as if nothing is happening. It was God who saved me that day. When the traffic robbery is going on, you are on your own, the next driver doesnt even know what you are going through. Please always wind up your glass while on traffic and avoid pinging too.
Now can you see why we need a TOTAL ban on okadas.In horrible crimes by petty, useless robbers such as this, its the main getaway method. SMH. This poor boy's life wasted all because an idiot wanted to take his phone (which will probably be sold for like 5k and some petty change). May his soul rest in peace and may God give his family the grace to bear this great loss.
